Close to city centre, easy to get around. Handy for local transport, handy for restaurants and bars but not noisy. Lovely staff. Great breakfast.
No bar, no coffee bar also used to have a spa which I was looking forward too using but unfortunately it has closed down.

Location and the staff were very friendly. Tea and coffee making facilities. Iron and ironing board.
A large dip in bathroom floor covered by cheap flooring. Cracks in and around the shower base. Funny smell in the bedroom and when entering reception. Hair dryer a topped working as after 5 minutes.
Fantastic location near to train station. Only a few minutes walk into the town or quayside. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall very clean and the towels were soft. Suite was reduced price as was a weekday which was good. Reasonably quiet for a city centre hotel with not too much road noise.
Suite was nice but the bed was two singles clipped together so it sagged in the centre.
The bathroom was nice and the shower had two large shower heads and two separate doors opposite each other .
Unfortunately the shower doors leaked badly. This was not noticed until finished showering and then I found the floor external of the shower to be absolutely covered in water held by the tiled floor.
I had to then use the hand towels and floor towels to soak up the water , ring them out and repeat multiple times until the floor was dry. In the morning rolled up some towels and made a sort of dam to keep water towards the shower doors and very quickly showered before leaving.
It was late when first showered so did not tell staff until we checked out who said they would have cleaned the floor for us, but as mentioned it was late and didn’t want staff working while we just wanted to go to bed.
Reception said they would address the issue.
Staff were really friendly and helpful,the room was clean and well decorated.
Service was smooth and informative enough for myself to understand. They give you a sheet of paper with all hotel details and on reverse has local hospitality spots what is a nice touch.
The cooked breakfast was standard wasn't the best but wasn't the worst I've had. Location is spot on with plenty of eaterys, bars and clubs around with good transport links from central station, the metro lines and of course the bus + taxis
Side tables and "big" glass table that was in my room could do with either being touched up or replaced. Standard wear and tear. Cupboard door has had a diy job as looks like hinge as came off previously.

The location was perfect, the staff were lovely and made you feel welcome. The breakfast was lovely and fresh.
The location with being in centre can be noisy at night time. Woke 2 x in the night.
The rooms were clean but not to standard of other hotels I have stayed in. The breakfast was great but when ordered a booked breakfast it took a long time to come.
It feels very homely. I have been attending for 18 months now weekly.
It needs a few repairs and deep cleans to make it perfect
