Comfortable and friendly; nicely updated historic property in a great location
Pros:

Historic property in an ideal location, convenient to the station, restaurants and bars, and all the action of the center; right at the foot of the city's most beautiful street. Friendly reception, comfortable and up-to-date room, good wi-fi. Staff were super responsive with a repair we needed to our bathroom door handle.

Cons:

Our room was a bit tight for two people. A prominent sign in the lobby said guests could borrow umbrellas, but when one of us needed to do that I found it surprising that there was a charge.

Super conveniant and comfortable
Pros:

Very comfortable room.Not the largest but great dual aspect windows and high ceilings.
Moved to hotel at very short notice so it was very welcome.

Cons:

I was surprised there was no bar service in the hotel. I understand that being surrounded by bars and restaurants it wasn't really necessary but it might have been nice to be able to have a nightcap at the hotel.
