Great stay overall
Pros:

The staff were super friendly, and the room was very spacious

Cons:

The mattress of our bed wasn’t very comfy, but we were only staying for 1 night so it did the job

Good hotel stay was nice just a pitty about the admin. Not sure if it was a booking.com issue or a future inns problem

Property was very well parented, clean with good facilities.

Cons:

I booked with booking.com which was easy but I booked an hour before I arrived but the booking hadn’t been logged with the hotel. I had to wait 25mins before I could get booked into my room which I was not happy about as i was late for my appointment.

Lovely quiet area by Cardiff Bay, local buses and a train service.
Pros:

We did not use the restaurant.
Our room was excellant, only stayed 2 nights. Comfortable chairs.

Cons:

The windows outside were dirty and could not open the window.

Unpretentious and honest - a hidden treasure
Pros:

We absolutely LOVE this hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. For us the location is ideal, a short drive from the M4/J33, a free car park, and a nearby bus stop with regular buses into the city centre. I believe there is also a train station that takes you to Queen Street station in the city too. There is so much to do around the area and 'coming home' to the Future Inn for dinner and a good night's sleep makes it the perfect choice.

Cons:

If I have to say anything negative it was a shame that one of the two guest lifts broke down during our stay. I really can't think of anything else!
