Die Lage direkt im Zentrum

Cons:

Sehr dunkel im Zimmer und es stank nach Abfluss. Schade dass soviel Platz nicht genutzt wird, die alte Kirche hätte viel Potential für zb eine Kunstausstellung

A educação e simpatia dos funcionários é exímia. Pequeno almoço fantástico com muitos produtos caseiros. O edifício é lindo.

Pros:

O lugar é único. Você vive a experiência de um convento em detalhes. Salões amplos e altos, arquitetura impressionante, decoração bem colocada. A localização central em Beja também é um ponto favorável.

Cons:

Fiquei num quarto com uma grande rachadura na parede que demonstra preocupação com a manutenção de uma forma geral.
Fui em Junho, dia com 30⁰C de temperatura média e o sistema de ar condicionado deixou muito a desejar. Fiz check-in por volta das 17h e o quarto só começou a ficar com a temperatura agradável por volta das 22h, e ainda assim, ficou bem distante do desejável.
O banho à noite foi tranquilo porque não precisei de água quente, mas durante a manhã a água quente saía de forma inconstante do chuveiro, fazendo a tempestade da água variar bastante.
Na casa de banho, a única amenidade era um sabonete líquido preso à parede. Então, se não levar seu sabonete e shampoo, vai precisar comprar. Nunca tinha visto isso nos hotéis em que me hospedei, e me surpreendi negativamente. Por sorte, levo minha necesaire completa, mas fica o aviso.

An unusual stay with a great pool
Pros:

An imposing building from the outside, and even more so inside! This spacious and echoey converted convent is all cool marble and high ceilings. The rooms are all centred round the cloisters with long sparsely decorated hallways. The bedroom was spacious, good storage, a working safe, and minibar.

The pool was a welcome addition as it was hot in Beja in June. Lovely palm trees, sun loungers, and parasols and cold water.

Cons:

Although I didn’t use the restaurant, it was unclear whether there was a bar service particularly for the pool area. Some staff did occasionally walk round but seemed to be clearing up or re-positioning sun loungers.

The air conditioning is not proper air con, rather some sort of circulated air which did not cool the room down at all. It had to be on high speed and at the lowest temperature and be left on for hours to make any sort of difference. It is an old, converted building so it may not be possible to install full A/C.

It would have been nice to have had a bit more information on the history of the convent itself.

Historische Herberge mit landestypischem Flair in guter Lage
Pros:

Die Pousada befindet sich in der Stadtmitte von Beja umgeben von einem kleinen Park.
Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und beinhaltet hochwertige Speisen, z.B. rohen Schinken. Es gibt sogar Sekt.

Cons:

Bei Anreise gab es kein fließende Wasser. Das WLAN war im Zimmer nur mit Schwierigkeiten zu bekommen.
Es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl.

Casa de banho a precisar de uma pequena intervenção na banheira. Colchão um pouco duro, bom para as costas, mas não tanto para as ancas, e a piscina a precisar de mais cuidado. Isto são apenas pequenas criticas constructivas para melhorar o espaço que adorei.
