Convenient location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, complimentary breakfast, cookies and coffee, comfortable bed! Cool artwork in hotel with descriptions.
Limited restaurant and bar hours, fairly pricey valet parking (although the valets were super nice!)
The staff was nice, it was centrally located, the bed was comfortable, and it was clean.
The young lady who checked us in was very friendly.
It was all fine. Just fine though. Nothing special or memorable.
Room was great, very comfortable and had all the amenities I needed.
Towels were a little small.
The room was clean and comfortable
Tge location, downtown
Nice older hotel. Rooms spacious enough.
Literally appears to be staffed by college kids who know little about service industry (or what they are doing). The most troubling is that there is a homeless encampment right outside the hotel because church across the street that appears to have soup kitchen and overnight stays. Can be crowds of down & out folks, druggies, and rabble rousers just outside the hotel. Did not have an incident, but had concerns. Had to use the valet service to park car and at $45 a night in smaller city like Providence, it was steep but necessary for vehicle safety.
Geräumiges Zimmer und Betten. Wenn auch rustikal doch sehr hübsch eingerichtet. Personal teilweise freundlich. Zentrale Lage. Fussläufig bis in die Stadt. Restaurants in der Nähe.
Personal teilweise desinteressiert. Umgebung aufgrund der Nähe zu Obdachlosenunterkunft (?). Abends teilweise etwas komisch, wenn auch nicht unsicher.
Hotel Staff was friendly, room was a little small but very clean and had everything we needed.
Breakfast was very well served, lots of variety hot and cold and staff was very helpful and polite
You can walk here from the train stain, no problem. You're in the downtown su there are restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, Providence seems to have a really bad homeless/ drug use problem and they seem to like to gather right outside of the hotel. (The church across the street must give them food/ supplies). While this is s nice thing to do, they are very intimidating and make leaving the hotel as a woman very nerve-wracking. There was a man laying on the ground that I thought was dead! That really needs to be moved and it's sad that it's right in front of this hotel. My husband was not bothered by it, so maybe it's just scary for women and children.
Breakfast
Great location in the middle of downtown Providence. Nice big room, complimentary continental breakfast in the morning. Was able to find street parking relatively easily.
Good location, big room
The people from outside the hotel can be very loud and crowded.
Location was perfect for the venues I was visiting.
I wasn't able to control the temperature of the room.
The room was very comfortable- especially the beds and bedding. The shower was nice as well. My sense is that the people who work are doing the best they can but don’t benefit from the kind of training that bigger hotels do. Almost everyone was nice but there was some surprising indifference at times. I had breakfast in the restaurant and it was delicious and the staff were great.
The location while central, happens to be on a block that is crowded with people buying, selling and doing drugs. My teenage son and I walked by a drug deal in real time, which was not super fun. I felt for the staff who undoubtedly have to deal with all sorts of stuff and have to walk through that activity every day. I get the sense that the place is really understaffed and everyone who works there feels that.
