Great room, nice staff, complementary breakfest snacks and coffee, amazing location
Only issue was the many homeless across the street at the hotel entrance. But that's not so bad and the location is great.
Beautiful, traditional interiors with high quality fittings and spacious rooms
The breakfast was very basic, and though central, didn’t feel very safe sometimes in the downtown area
The location
The price, the single bed instead of two beds we asked for, the terrible views to a wall with no light. And the price again which was way too expensive for the value
Location. Clean
Smallll beds
I just left the hotel Providence after spending 4 comfortable nights here… there’s a lot they get right here. Firstly, front desk personnel is very friendly and helpful… I had asked for a sunny and quiet junior suite and received exactly that. Xtra pillows and hangers were brought promptly and efficiently. A slow draining sink was fixed as soon as I mentioned it to front desk and housekeeping came every day to touch up the room and refresh towels etc. the AC was strong which was nice during this heatwave and pretty quiet. Water pressure was fine in shower ( handshower provided) and except for a bit of a temperamental heat fluctuation in shower it was a small but comfortable bathroom. Bed was comfy and room was quiet. Housekeeping was friendly but did not speak any English ( not a big deal as I speak a bit of Spanish) and efficient. I had read about homeless people on the street by the hotel and I did see quite a few loitering nearby at odd times but they didn’t bother me for the most part although I wouldn’t have liked to pass by there alone at night so that could be a bit of aN issue. One evening when I got back late from seeing a show nearby there was nobody at front desk and I felt that could be maybe not the best for hotel guest safety as anybody could enter hotel and get up to the rooms. There was coffee in the lobby and water as well and sometimes cookies and one evening cheese and wine which was really nice! Overall it was a comfortable stay… I especially appreciated being granted a late check out by a very nice front desk person on my last day… I would def. Recommend this hotel and stay here again!
Great location.
The old room floor and bed make squeaking sounds. The mattress springs even showed outside. Since I discovered it just before I went to bed, I don't want to call for help late at night. I used a bandage to cover it. They need to update to match the hotel's to level.
The staff was so friendly and accommodating. It was also very clean and well kept. Suite we booked was huge!
It was next to a food bank. Lots of homeless.
Friendly staff
Shower wasnt very clean when we arrived. Some hairs in it. Furniture very dusty. Ironing board cover was threadbare
The staff were wonderful, bedroom was large and comfortable and the location was convenient for a move in to one of the local universities.
I wish there had been a full buffet breakfast on the weekdays also.
The front desk staff was excellent and helped me recover my lost credit card by surprised.
