Historic building with great rotunda
Pros:

Great location. Even though we couldn’t arrive on the scheduled date due to the cancellation of our flight they didn’t change for that night. We loved the interior of the building.

International tourists not welcome and beware security deposit scam
Pros:

Motel was in an excellent location and beutifully equipped.
Room was large and beutifully furnished.

Cons:

1. Humiliated by reception staff as they refused to accepted credit card as security as our bank was not American. If booking.con hadn't already taken money from our account, they were refusing to have us.
2. They have not refunded security.
3. Unprofessional and scammed us out of "security"

Good hub for work trip
Pros:

This room was comfortable and well appointed. I love the atmosphere of historic but updated. I was able to access easily via a bus from the airport. Staff was ok. They checked me in and out but did not help beyond the basics. I appreciated the comfortable, spacious place to get work done and rest easily.

Excellent service and clean facility
Pros:

The location to the Fox Theater The decor and cleanliness. The staff and customer service provided.

Cons:

Small parking lot behind the hotel. Additional parking is a walk to get to the lot to pick up our car when checking out. The weather was good for us this trip but winters have snow and ice which is not safe for elderly to walk.

Cute little hideout but be aware of the parking.
Pros:

Bathroom with a door! The room 303 had a very large bathroom. We got a separate room for our adult human and they put him next door. There was an added outer door we could have closed to eliminate any mistaken entry. Kind of neat. Lots of restaurants nearby. The atrium area is very calming. Love the decor and furniture.

Cons:

Microwave and fridge in room (with actual freezer) but no coffee maker. The coffee maker was on the second floor, husband had to remind them to refill it each day (they assured us it was flowing 24/7) The breakfast was a block away (complimentary with caveats.) The biggest issue was parking. Behind the hotel was 14 spaces for 39 rooms, the next parking lot that is included in your stay is 2 blocks away. It was a dry weekend but I cant imagine parking your car and walking in the rain/wind/snow etc.

Location was 10/10. Rooms needs a little update
Pros:

The vibe was cute and super funky we really enjoyed the hallway/lobby area! The location was amazing

Cons:

The bathroom needed a serious update and carpets need ripped up asap. The rooms needed a bit of a refresh

Wonderful.
Pros:

The architectural restoration and design was beautiful. Room was spotlessly clean and furnished at a level I would only expect for at least double the rate we paid. Will be back next time we're in the area!
