FCC Angkor by Avani

If you haven’t been to Cambodia, please go, and if you do, please stay at this gorgeous boutique hotel. It is beautifully appointed and in a great location, an easy walk or tuktuk ride away from the central area. The team there are friendly and welcoming and do their manager proud. We loved quiet times at the pool, tasty breakfasts on the cool balcony and the comfort of bar at night, where we watched the world go by. This hotel offers a nod to the city’s past in the classiest of ways, while offering all the mod cons one could expect. Stay there! It’s a must, in Siem Reap.

From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt so calm and beautiful, which was the perfect contrast to the busy streets of Siem Reap. The setting is gorgeous and it has such a lovely atmosphere it feels luxurious without feeling stuffy or overly formal.

The staff were genuinely so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and our room was beautiful and really comfortable. We also loved being able to come back to the hotel after busy days exploring the temples and experiencing Cambodian life. Having somewhere peaceful and relaxing to return to made such a difference.

We did so much while we were in Siem Reap, from exploring the temples to visiting local markets, seeing the stilt houses and fishing communities around Tonlé Sap, pub street and trying lots of Cambodian food, and FCC was the perfect base for everything.

We also loved having the hotel as a peaceful place to relax in between exploring, especially in the heat of the day.

Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Siem Reap. Beautiful hotel, amazing location, wonderful staff and such a peaceful atmosphere. We would absolutely stay here again and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Cambodia.

Inspirado en el viejo club de corresponsales de Siem Reap y ubicado en un antiguo edificio de la época colonial francesa, es un oasis de calma y bienestar. La decoración, perfectamente integrada en el ambiente, es maravillosa; el servicio atentisimo y siempre dispuesto a ayudar para organizar las visitas a Angkor o para cualquier cosa que puedas necesitar. Habitación cómodisima, con la piscina al lado. El bar es el lugar más especial del FCC, con cocteles, música en directo y camareros súper profesionales.

きれいで便利。徒歩でマーケットや飲食店に行ける。アンコールワットの日の出で朝５時出発のときは４時半にbreakfast boxを用意してくれた。チェックアウト後に荷物を預かってもらえて、ピックアップの時汗でいっぱいの時はシャワーも借りれた。

FCC Angkor by Avani was a beautiful hotel with French Colonial architecture. Beautiful pool, shops, bar and restaurant. The staff were very professional and accommodating. The bed and pillows were the best I have ever experienced in a hotel.

I had a good experience at the FCC Avani hotel. The room (colonial heritage room) was large and very clean. Beds were super comfortable and I slept very well. We got an upgrade to a superior category for one of our rooms and could do a late check out.
Every wish we had was fulfilled. The hotel staff was extremely friendly.
Breakfast is not a buffet, you have to order. The quality of the food was good.
I can recommend the hotel and would go there again.

Beautiful property on the river within walking distance of the markets and Pub Street. We stayed in the heritage courtyard. There is another wing that looks to be newer across the side street. Service was outstanding. Great experience.

This is a wonderful hotel to stay in: the architecture, the vibes, the service, the kindness of the personnel, the food, the drinks… it made my trip to Siem Reap lovely and relaxing, as it was good to go back to the hotel and relax after long visits , long walks… the Pool area, the Gym, the bar are amazing, in addition the Mansion restaurant is exceptional!

Excellent service, restaurant très bon, relaxation à la piscine, localisation parfaite à 10mn à pied du centre animé de la ville.

Nous avons séjourné dans la suite avec terrasse qui est dingue.

Gentillesse et professionnalisme du personnel. Excellent restaurant (nos compliments au Chef). Les chambres sont très confortables et on remarque immédiatement que le soin apporté juste dans les moindres détails.

I stayed at this fantastic hotel in Siam Rieb when i went there with my two kids to go see the Angkor Wat temple. The rooms, the service and also their help with arranging trips was amazing, i can highly recommend this hotel that are also located very central in the city.

Amazing hotel, lovely staff, wonderful rooms and pool and great food at the Mansion. The hotel is perfectly located to visit Siem Reap, very close to the night market but still secluded in a quite area, the hotel atmosphere transports you to the 20s when foreign correspondents spent time there having drinks and hanging out, awesome feeling. A la carte breakfast is really nice and staff is very nice and friendly. We had dinner twice at the mansion and the food was really good too. We have been in many 5 star hotels around the world and FCC has some special charm for sure, can't recommend it enough.

We were lucky to stay in the Governor’s Suite, which was incredible, chic, sophisticated, and packed with wonderful amenities. The restaurant was so exceptionally good that we almost never felt like dining anywhere else, and the elegant swimming pool was always kept at the perfect temperature for a relaxing dip after exploring the temples.
