Beach Terrace

Perfect place to be...right on the beach, beautiful rooms and swimming pool with fire pits. They even put out chairs and umbrellas on the beach for you so all you need to do is grab a towel and go!

Beach Terrace was great! Location was right on the beach. At check in we were greeted warmly, staff helped get our bags to the room. We had a pool terrace room that was roomy, fresh and clean. It had it's own seating right outside the door to sit with a glass of wine and read a book. Great continental breakfast that changed every day. It was a blend of fun and healthy food options. Pool was perfect and the beach was clean with plenty of available chairs and umbrellas. We would absolutely stay there again.

Beautiful little hotel with friendly staff and everything you need for a little family beach vacation. We were in California for Disneyland and took the Amtrak down for a few days of relaxation. So many restaurants & shops within walking distance and the beach and pool are so lovely. Really appreciate the beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys! They made everything easy!

We had the best stay at the Beach Terrace! The service was amazing, beds were comfortable, and location is prime. Right on the beach, with a warm pool, and incredible breakfast every morning. We already want to come back!

Absolutely exceptional experience. Staff was professional and friendly, rooms were lovely and very spacious, beach attendants helpful with chairs and umbrellas, pool was heated and firepits were perfect for the cooler nights. Will definitely book again, within walking distance of everything in the village.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The beach and pool are so convenient, breakfast was awesome and loved that we could take it to our room and enjoy the views while eating. The room.was spacious and clean. Will certainly be back!

Location, rooms, overall experience!

Other than obstinate check in procedure everything else was good. Cleaning staff seemed prioritized before better customer service.
Room was beautiful as usual,with spectacular view of sea.

Lovely experience and stay at Beach Terrace! Every detail was perfection, the location is amazing. I barely left my balcony, but when I did it was worth it! The beach valet was SO nice, as was the pool area.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, the pillow menu was such a luxurious touch, the shower and body products were great.

Will absolutly be back again!

Had the most wonderful staycation at Beach Terrace Inn! It was my birthday and the hotel gave us an amazing room right over the sand. We spent most of our time on the balcony having drinks at sunset, some yummy take out from the Village for dinner and were right back there in the morning with our coffee & breakfast. The complimentary breakfast spread was also so thoughtful! It was a very large selection of fun dishes served so beautifully. Even though we live in Carlsbad, I can't wait to come back and stay again, this time with a group of friends & family.

We had a great stay for 4 nights! Breakfast was delicious each morning. The front staff and other ancillary staff on site were very friendly and helpful. Easy access to the beach. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops in the village of Carlsbad. Will definitely come back and stay there again.

The staff members were quickly responding and did best for me to enjoy the stay. I am very grateful.

We've stayed here several times and always found the location, staff, facilities and service to be perfect. Very comfortable, large rooms that are well appointed. Overall, quite quiet. We love the fabulous views. Always people watching, looking for dolphin, whales and the various birds. Walking into the Carlsbad village where there are so many choices of restaurants and shopping beats the heck out of moving the car and having to park again. Love it! We'll be back.

The only hotel in Carlsbad on the beach. Large pool also with fire pits. The rooms are very generous in size and have all amenities. Noise in room 22 was not an issue. Ideal for couples or families with children. Parking suggested ($33 a day). Walk easily to Carlsbad Village stores and restaurants. Only a short drive to Flower Fields and Legoland. One of the cleanest hotels we have every stayed at. Hosts are very accommodating.
