Pros:

The hotel & room were clean & tidy, and just what we needed.

We ate in the restaurant for dinner and were very pleased with the quality & quantity of the dishes.

Extremely pleasurable mostly with a few niggles mentioned
Pros:

The staff were very polite helpful and up for a good laugh, service was great, food was exceptional very good choice of dishes at dinner and breakfast.

Cons:

Couldn’t get the shower to work properly reported to reception staff who got someone up to have a look and fix it but still couldn’t get it to work had to get receptionist back up to get it to work eventually, could do with new mattress in room we were in, housekeeping needs to do more thorough had dust on curtains, tv cabinet and top of bed head.

Pros:

The hotel is in a lovely location with several beautiful walks by the river and through woodland. The hotel itself has everything you need for your stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed at better places and paid less.
Pros:

We liked the good service in the dining room, comfortable beds and the setting.
The evening meal was enjoyable.

Cons:

We felt the hotel was rather shabby and in need of TLC. Our bathroom looked cold and uninviting.
Breakfast was poor value for money - we would have liked fresh coffee, fresh fruit and plain yogurt.

Pros:

Das Zimmer war einwandfrei und hatte auch eine angenehme Größe. Es war sehr ruhig, sauber und verfügte über ein geräumiges Bad. Die Ausstattung war ordentlich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, typisch britisch – mir persönlich hat jedoch etwas Frisches und Gesundes gefehlt. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Ideal location for us and both evening meal and breakfast was great. Snooker tables was a little bit of fun surprise too! Nearby local dog walk was fab. Special thanks to Natalie and Keely for their helpfulness and happiness :)

De mensen waren super vriendelijk.

Cons:

Het was oud en versleten. Oud is mooi maar dan moet het goed onderhouden zijn. Het hotel is super vergane glorie.
