Located in the village of Nethy Bridge, the hotel staff was helpful and responsive to our group. Food in the restaurant, both for our breakfast buffet and the dinner we had there, was fantastic. The rooms were comfortable and it was cool enough during the night to prop windows open for a breeze.
The hotel is a little run down. The photos on Booking.com make it look a lot more modern. Even the letters on the outside of the hotel’s name are showing some age. But it was a great location and the price was great.
Lovely: friendly local staff and a fine hotel we had a beautiful room overlooking the garden
Everything was perfect. Staff, food, location, bar and lounge all brilliant. Exceeding all expectations. The room was great,shower...all in all a great experience
Staff very helpful and did their utmost to make our stay a great experience. Restful decor and well furnished. Spotlessly clean and great food. Easy parking and beautiful garden to sit in.
Nothing
Cobwebs in the bedroom. Cracks in multiple places on the walls and ceilings. Rooms were old and shabby. Furniture was tired and worn. Decoration was minimal and outdated. Windows had paint peeling. Carpet needed washing. Smelt like a nursing home. Food was barely edible. Main road right in front of the hotel before the garden. Back garden was a jungle. Certainly not as pictured, and definitely not worth the money. May have been nice 70 years ago, but certainly isn’t now. My mom convinced me to stay because she wanted the day out the following day, but I wanted to leave as soon as I arrived. I stayed for her sake alone.
Das historische Gebäude Die Lage in der Natur
Es gab nichts zu bemängeln
Angenehme Atmosphäre in einem schönen, alten Hotel, wunderschöner Garten, sehr gutes Restaurant.
Das Restaurant ist sehr hochpreisig.

The outside it was a good base for going golfing
Grumpy bar staff
The hotel is located in a beautufil place with lovely walks around. The staff was friendly and the room was comfy and very quiet. Dinner was incredible! Such fantastic food. Breakfast was fine, but dinner was truly amazing. Very nice lounge area. Our room was spatious, comfy twin beds, big window, modern bathroom.
Not much we didn't like. Beautiful building that must have had splendor in mid 20th century, a bit run down now. It would have been great to have a chest board available for use in the lounge area.
Beautiful location and grounds, comfortable rooms and staff that make you feel at home and go the extra mile - big shout out to Luka!
Decor and facilities are a little tired - but that’s part of the charm and character
Excellent food and comfortable clean room with great shower.
Enjoyed the snooker tables as well
