The location was perfect.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The food was good and plentiful.
Externally the building was in poor condition, needing most of the windows replacing. They were showing their age, and needed a coat of paint as a minimum.
Breakfast was goog
Lounge was very spacious and peaceful
Absence of grabrail to get into the bath for a shower
Evening meals
Location
Manger behind the bar bad natalie
Lovely room with a bath in the ensuite. Had a great meal of Haggis, Neeps & Tatties.
Right on the main road through town. Photo of property was taken from the back of the park across the road. A little deceiving.
Fine setting with pleasant gardens of its own Very good breakfast.
Lovely old building, lots of character!! Friendly staff, restaurant on site, comfortable beds!!
The photos don’t show the road located right in front of the property - instead show a beautiful garden - making it look as though the hotel is set back from the road with a garden right in front. We chose the higher rate for a supreme room “overlooking the garden”. We could see the garden from our room, but unfortunately we were also overlooking the road, with cars driving by, and coaches dropping off and picking up their passengers from the hotel - not very peaceful and quiet as one would expect from a “garden view”!! Otherwise, it was quiet during the night.
Good
Hotel very run down decor wise
Room very basic
Needed refreshed
Staff and any dealings we had with staff all fabulous.
Garden was lovely and location fabulous.
Hotel needs updating.
Our stay at the Nethybridge Hotel was truly lovely! From the moment we arrived, the staff was an absolute delight, welcoming us so warmly and making check-in an absolute breeze. The hotel itself is incredibly beautiful and bursting with classic charm and personality. We really loved the traditional decor and the nice views from our room, where the bed and pillows kept us perfectly comfortable. Parking was also super convenient, as we were able to park right out front, though it's great to know there is additional space in the back too. To top it all off, the dining was fantastic: we enjoyed a wonderful, delicious dinner at the hotel, followed by a hearty, traditional Scottish breakfast the next morning.
Naturally, because this is a historic property, the hotel and its rooms are on the older side, which comes with just a few minor quirks. The bathroom ventilation made a bit of an uncomfortable sound while running, and the bedroom door was a slightly older, thinner model, meaning we could hear some passing noise from the corridor. However, the hotel was overall very quiet and peaceful, so it didn't disrupt our rest. It is a wonderful, character-filled place to stay, and we genuinely enjoyed our time here!
Wenig Charme .
The location was lovely.
The facade was a little tired looking.
Excellent location
I paid £124 wish I think was a little expensive
Breakfast was good and staff were great
Poor parking, the hotel is very tired looking and outdated, as was our room, especially paying £300 for two nights, we were expect a lot better, it's not great value for money. I appreciate it's an old hotel but it's seriously needing some TLC, we will be finding another hotel that's better value for money
Lovely historic building with beautiful gardens. Food was excellent and staff were friendly and efficient
Nothing
Food was good.
