Great Hotel in Good Location
Pros:

We liked the convenience of being in walking distance to the Esther Short Park where the Vancouver Wine & Jazz Festival takes place, the close proximity to the Columbia River where there are many restaurants, and very close to the Farmer's Market. We love the restaurant and bar on the first floor. We liked the convenience of coffee and snacks for purchase in the lobby, valet assistance, and ease of garage parking. Thank you to the housekeeping staff for refreshing our towels and tidying up our room. Beds were comfy. We felt very safe in this hotel.

Cons:

The price of parking adds quite a bit to the nightly rate. The bathrooms need a fan for odors and steam from the shower.

Overall, EXPENSIVE! But worth it for my mobility challenged wife.
Pros:

Very convenient location for attending the Wine & Jazz Festival. Parking is convenient and secure, but fairly expensive at $37/day.

Cons:

We had requested a room with an easy access shower. Other than having gobs of grab bars everywhere it wasn’t especially easy to access (still had to climb over the edge of a standard height tub). Might consider retrofitting the bathrooms for these rooms with a low or zero clearance walk in shower. Also the desk lamp bulb was burned out, and the caulking in the bathroom needed to be redone.

Helpful staff
Pros:

The staff were so helpful and attentive. Lovely comfortable beds and great views of hood mountain. There is a pool and jacuzzi along with a small gym. They have swimming towels by the entrance to the pool and changing rooms.

Cons:

La colazione non era assolutamente soddisfacente. Non era a buffet ed era molto difficile ottenere i cibi richiesti. Per esempio, ho sempre chiesto 2 fette di pane tostato, e 6 volte su 7 ne ho ottenuto solo una. La porzione di marmellata era piccolissima. Il personale non era disponibile per rettificare l'ordine. 3 giorni su 7 la frutta nella fruit cup era muffa. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è molto insoddisfacente.

Cons:

There was no breakfast or decent coffee provided. The water pressure in the shower was dribbles. No fan in the bathroom. Just very disappointed.
