White Elephant Palm Beach

Terrible service from booking until check-out. Terribly overpriced.

We had a really disappointing experience at the White Elephant Palm Beach.

We booked this stay for our anniversary, expecting something special based on the photos on amex travel, but the reality was completely different. The biggest issue was the balcony. It was presented as a private outdoor space, but in reality it was fully exposed and offered no privacy whatsoever with our neighbors greeting us in bathrobes and drinking beer when we checked in...

Within 10 minutes of arriving, it was clear this wasn’t what we booked, so we made the decision to leave. We cancelled immediately and had to scramble to find another hotel on our anniversary night, which completely disrupted our plans.

For a property at this price point, accurate representation matters. This felt misleading and frankly unacceptable. I would strongly recommend confirming the exact room details before booking—or choosing another hotel altogether.

It will be hard to put into words how wonderful our experience was at the White Elephant ! First and foremost of what made it a 10 star experience was the service. If you and your children want to feel like Eloise at the Plaza for a trip, this is the place to go. When we arrived we were met outside and they personally walked to our car to come retrieve our things. Next we entered to prosecco, and toys for the children. Then Adam walked us to our room (highly recommend the 1 bedroom suite) and there was a teepee, children’s books, snacks, juice boxes, a toy campfire with faux marshmallows and lantern, a blanket palette for a slumber party, crayons and a coloring book, AND building blocks and Velcro fruit to play with ! As well as adorable childrens shampoo & wash ! This was all done by Karen, the concierge, was the most thoughtful person to come up with every item! Then, one evening we decided to stay in and have a movie night and Karen personally brought up fresh homemade cookies, milk, and popcorn! The attention to every detail was impeccable and we are just so appreciative.

Then, as for my mother and I we had so many little tiny requests like dinner reservations, babysitters, boat experiences (closed for the season but an option during the season), car rides & airport transfers, and they always accommodated with smiles on their faces, never seeming to be annoyed even though we had to be the most high maintenance guests !

Other really fun unexpected luxury perks of this hotel included golf cart rides and chair/umbrella set up at the beach! Then, anytime we wanted they gave us a ride from their house BMW SUV cars to go wherever we wanted on the island and be picked up. This is SO helpful because the hotel is about a 35 minute walk to worth avenue, so this made it very easy to get places! Not having to call an uber and load our kids in and out of different Ubers multiple times a day made the experience just that much more enjoyable. The drivers, shout out to Jeff for answering all of my 5 year olds questions :) and to Xavier for being so kind to our family. And Damien as well!

The pool was so warm, perfect to swim in all day. Lola the restaurant attached had such good food as well!

To us, it’s the best service we have ever experienced and we have stayed at countless hotels. None have ever, or will ever, compare. We are now White Elephant guests for life!

Recently had a 1 night Stay- but from the Moment we checked in to “Jr” the Bellhop we had a wonderful stay, Rooms are Comfortable, Beds are Super Comfy, Bathrooms Clean, and Common Areas Clean and Classy - this is a Little Hotel but feels like your in a 5 Star Resort, the Food in the restaurant is Tasty and the Swimming Pool was Classic Palm Beach, We often visit Palm Beach and will put the White Elephant at the Top of our List!

We had an amazing experience thanks to Karen! From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us, and truly made us feel welcome. Her positive attitude and professionalism made a big difference in our stay.

Great experience at White Elephant in Palm Beach. Jennifer in particular at the front desk was terrific. She took care of everything we needed and was very accommodating. Keisha and Charlize also were very helpful. The restaurant Lola is so convenient and when not open the hotel has coffee pastries and fruit every morning. It was a great experience for us.

We had a great 4 day getaway with friends. The warm weather, friendly staff and convenient location were exactly what we were looking for. JohnWayne, Junior and Damian were really helpful giving us rides in the house car to dinner and the beach. Thanks to all for a wonderful stay!

The White Elephant Palm Beach hotel is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay near West Palm Beach. The property feels calm and private, with clean rooms and stylish décor. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are spacious and bright. The pool area is peaceful and perfect for relaxing in the sun. Staff members are friendly and helpful, making guests feel welcome from the moment they arrive. Its location is great, close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Overall, it offers a luxury experience with a quiet, cozy atmosphere

the room is was ok but the mechanical noise was uncomfortable when i inquired i was told it was the dryers and would end its 10:30 pm and it sounds like i am in the bilge of the titanic

The staff at this White Elephant is wonderful; they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Karen was fantastic, she booked us dinner reservations and even brought us a cake for our anniversary! I would highly recommend this hotel. The service is the best we have ever had. They provide cars and drivers to take you anywhere that you want to go. We can’t say enough about what an enjoyable experience it was.

The staff were nice enough. Nice to have a house car drive you to dinner etc. our main concern was the room noise and privacy.

Received a complimentary upgrade to a cozy and well-appointed king suite. Room was lovely but the staff was the true high point. Everyone was responsive and thoughtful with a huge shout-out to Christian, who literally braved a torrential downpour to drive us to our dinner reservation. We will be back!

Went for a couples getaway. The location is a few blocks from the beach. They have wonderful golf carts. They shuttle you in and get you set up on the beach. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were in great hands with friendly, competent, and extremely professional people who made our stay such a wonderful experience. The rooms were lovely as well as the overall hotel. We enjoy sitting out on a balcony, which didn’t disappoint. It was just an added bonus that provided additional levels of happiness and comfort for us.The adjacent restaurant was quite nice as well. My wife and I highly recommend the hotel due to the quality of the staff and comfort of the facilities.

Absolute best staff! Location is great lots to walk and do close by. The car service is top notch; Sebastian is so friendly. Karen at the front desk makes your stay even more welcoming. Grab a drink at Lola with the most beautiful bar tender. The rooms are spacious, and the suites are inviting. All the little extras amenities don't go unnoticed. Thank you for a fabulous time.
