Pros:

Amazing staff, beautiful rooms with central garden area and relaxing divans. It has its own minaret & wall walk.
Great location - straight 10 minute walk from the station and less than 5 minutes from the East Gate of the old city.
Would highly recommend

Pros:

The madrasa-turned hotel is exceptional, especially with its very own minaret. The staff was also very nice and caring, as it helped us to call the ambulance when my girlfriend injured her leg.

Cons:

The room is a little smaller then expected and there were small ants inside.

Pros:

Wir hatten das tolle Zimmer mit dem Balkon im Haupthaus. Die Treppen sind super steil, also Vorsicht, wer Knie- oder Gleichgewichtsprobleme hat.
Oben angekommen bietet sich allerdings ein traumhaft schönes, großes Zimmer mit 2 Doppelbetten und extra Badezimmer sowie Kühlschrank und kleiner Tür noch zu einer extra Dachterrasse :-)
Die Familie, die das Hotel - in einer alten Medrese gelegen - betreibt, ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Die junge Dame am Empfang spricht zudem sehr gutes Englisch.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen!

Cons:

Man findet zwar beim Frühstückbüffett neben tollen Teevarianten auch Instantkaffe, muss aber für einen klassischen Maschinenkaffee extra bezahlen.

Great location, just outside the walled part of the city but a very quick walk. The old school was beautifully done and such a nice calm place to stay. The staff are so lovely and I really liked the breakfast.

khiva was my introduction to Uzbekistan and everything feels magical
Pros:

we loved the feeling of the old student cells amenaged as nowaday room with bathroom.
the hotel staff is very nice and helpful.
i really loved the courtyard which makes you feel like home and all the uzbekistani tables where i spent very nice pauses.

An incredible stay with amazing hosts
Pros:

We loved our stay here so much. The staff are wonderful, the location is perfect for exploring Khiva, and the hotel is lovely. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Pros:

Nous avons eu deux chambres : une standard et une dite familiale avec terrasse. Evidemment la familiale est beaucoup mieux, les autres chambres sont des cellules sans fenêtre !

Cons:

Tenue par une famille pas très souriante. Petit-déjeuner buffet toujours installé en retard d'une bonne demie-heure. Tellement dommage de ne pas pouvoir le prendre de façon confortable dans la cour. Certains guests sont obligés de le prendre dans la salle qui est triste sans décoration et pas chaleureuse. En terme de qualité gustative : bonne confiture maison et petites crêpes pas mauvaises, le reste des oeufs préparés d'avance sur de grands plats en innox comme à la cantine. Dommage car beaucoup de potentiel. La déco générale et celle des chambres est faite de brique et de brocs, tout est comme poussiéreux, pas assorti .. on a eu l'impression d'un gros laisser-aller aussi bien dans l'accueil que dans la gestion. Le confort est juste passable. Salle de bain à refaire ... Bref cela pourrait être super beau, là c'est super... rien.

Por comentar algo, yo pondría café de máquina de capsules o, como mínimo, cafe Americano. El solubre no es muy bueno. Ni allí ni en ningún hotel del mundo (lo siento, me gusta mucho el café)

Architecture de l'hôtel
Ancienne madrasa reconvertie. Le style ancien à été respecté. C'est situé à l'extérieur de la vieille ville mais à 2 seulement à pied, donc tout est accessible à pied. La chambre individuelle est certe petite (ancienne chambre des étudiants) mais ça va il a in petit frigo, une petite télé, et surtout la climatisation (il fait frais dans la chambre ça va pour dormir).salle de bain très propre également. Tout est fourni. Les parties communes sont très belles, restaurant très beau (petit-déjeuner) et surtout des banquette à l'ombre pour se reposer et passe le temps. Le personnel est très très sympa. Ils partent anglais très bien. Le gérant également super sympa. La voiture A/R pour l'aéroport, l'excursion pour les 3 forteresses tout est organisé par eux si vous voulez. Petit-déjeuner très bien également, largement suffisant. On se sent très bien dans cer hôtel, à l'aise, relaxant. Important on vous donne une grande bouteille d'eau minérale dans votre chambre tous les jours

BEST VALUE FOR MONEY HISTORIC HOTEL IN KHIVA

Family hotel 5mns walk from the Khiva old city located in an ancient Madrasah. Rooms are located in the former student cells and are clean. Large bathroom. Great breakfast.
