It was a great experience, maybe hyped a bit too much.
Pros:

Great history and wonderfully grande. Staff was well trained and very friendly.

Cons:

We stayed in the Alfred Hitchcock suite and the floors were damaged quite badly due to leakage - as in they were detached and sticking up (which they tried to hide by placing the furniture in the corner),faucet knobs were falling off the wall, light bulbs were out. Just overall poor maintenance upkeep.

4 night stay in an historic hotel
Pros:

The hotel has retained a lot of its historical features which give it character. The location is perfect for exploring the city and the rooms are large, airy and very comfortable with big bathrooms. Chocolates every day is a nice touch and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The bar was closed for the duration which was a shame and although there was plenty of choice of food options for breakfast, fresh fruit was lacking despite there being an abundance in the markets

Cons:

Breakfast was 20 euros each (if you pay on checkin)
Which is a saving on normal 30 euros each. We both found it extremely disappointing. Hot food was bland/tasteless. Pastries not great. Typical ‘corporate’ quality. Shame

Locatie, de geschiedenis erachter het mystieke gevoel maakt dat dit sowieso 1x in je leven moet ervaren.
Pros:

Historisch gezien is het een geweldig mooi hotel, alsof je terug gaat in de tijd. Heerlijke kussens, alle linnen ook mooi met logo, schoon.

Cons:

Dames bij de receptie zijn niet heel vriendelijk.

Historic Stay in an Historic City
Pros:

The location is in Pera, just a few minutes from the Istiklal street and Galata tower. The hotel is historic, beautifully decorated late 19th C and recently completely refurbished in an elegant style.

Cons:

Très bel hôtel, qui dispose d'un grand salon à couper le souffle.
Pros:

Grande salle principale et bar absolument magnifiques.

Cons:

Wifi : obligé de se reconnecter plusieurs fois par jour.
Disponibilité des lieux : entre mariages et événements, nous n'avons que très peu pu profiter de la grande salle qui est somptueuse. C'est très dommage car c'est le lieu emblématique de l'hôtel. Je suggère que la Direction soit plus claire à ce sujet et prévienne à l'avance (c'est-à-dire au moment de la réservation) de l'indisponibilité éventuelle de la salle.
