We had booked a 5 night stay and we were travelling as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). We arrived very late on a Sunday night due to flight delays, to be told that our family room was no longer available and we would have to sleep in two separate rooms, which were not next to each other. No apology or explanation was given. This also meant that we could not get breakfast as we were not on the hotel system. The following morning when asked when the room we had booked would be available, staff could not help us and again no explanation was given. We asked to speak to the manager who was rude, and told us to leave our belongings in a luggage room and they would try and find a room. Apparently the hotel had a new software programme and our booking had been lost. We then asked again a few hours later and were greeted by trainee staff who again was unable to help us, whilst talking to us she went to help other customers. We were made to feel like inconveniences, they told us 'that you changed your mind'. and we again explained we just wanted the room that we had paid for (family room), they eventually gave us a family room. The room however had not been made up for a family and we had to pull out the bed, put out the pillows and cover ourselves. The room was dirty (packets of tissues under the bed, empty sweet wrappers), the bathroom had mould. The breakfast was adequate but there were ants all over the coffee station, in the sugar and the cinnamon. I will add the location is great and the shuttle to Disney was very helpful. Overall i would not recommend this to others.
We stayed at this hotel because we booked it through the Disneyland Paris website as part of a package. Our close family was with us and stayed in another room just 3 doors down. From the get go, lack of organization: loads of people coming in and on our check-in date, only one person manning the reception desk. On subsequent days during breakfast time, there were sometimes 4 people at reception and no one checking in, which then meant that breakfast was chaotic, because you had one maybe two people trying to keep the food topped up at the self-service stations and clearing the tables and bringing in milk and juice and... you get the point. At the same time, no one at the entrance of the dining area to confirm if guests were on the breakfast list so queues would build up pretty quickly. This is not the fault of the staff, but from management who don't seem to be capable of assigning staff where needed.
The food itself was very good with a good variety, so credit where it's due.
Moving on to the rooms, massive disappointment number 2: as stated above, we stayed in one studio (family of three) and my sisterin-law (also family of three) stayed in another room. We both booked at the same time, chose the same room type and paid the same amount (down to the last penny). On the Disneyland website, there are no reviews about the hotel and the pictures shown make you believe it's modern and well equipped. That's only true if you're lucky to get a "refreshed" room (like my sister-in-law), because we stayed in a room that looked stuck in the early 2000's: mouldy bathroom, small LED TV, no air conditioning, no fans (you had to request one at reception which we only found out after checking out and only because I noticed a bunch of them in a trolley), you have to request a hair dryer which is in limited supply as my sister-in-law found out (we were lucky to grab one). And mind you, we were on the same floor just three rooms distance from each other. Our toilet smelled of urine, the bathroom was bare minimum.
As people have also reported, the beds and sofa-beds are hit and miss, we had some dodgy looking furniture and mattresses. On the last day, my sister-in-law had issues with her access card/door lock.
On y reviendra certainement.
Perfect location
O quarto de banho, é muito exiguo.
The hotel is in a good location right next to the shopping mall so it’s easy access to restaurants as a air-conditioning building
Also, the shuttle is very easily to use a two minute walk and then the 10 minute shuttle to the Disney park
The air-conditioning was non-existent didn’t work very well
The staff need to be a bit more friendly and acknowledge people who come to the front desk
The swimming pool was ice cold and should be heated but was not
When leaving the property in the early morning the night Porter didn’t know how to unlock the Security gate so we could get our car out in the morning to me this is a health and safety issue. If something happened to the hotel like a fire how would the fire brigade get it into the hotel through the car park? It took in 30 minutes before he figured out how to get it open
Hi folks, I thought I would write a post as I read nothing but bad reviews about the hotel and in all honesty was dreading going thinking they would all be true.
We had 6 of us staying on floor 3. Smaller bedroom as you come in with bunk beds. Small bathroom and into a medium kitchen diner with sofa beds (second single is hiding under the sofa covered, that one caught us out). Upstairs was a bigger bathroom and a double room leading to a balcony.
It had been freshly decorated and refurbished so nothing was an issue at all. If you are looking for a Disney hotel where you leave in the morning and come back after a long day there is nothing to complain about a nice simple self catering set up.
Breakfast buffet: if I went again would I pay £15 per person, no, but it was fine. Various pastries, ham, salami, yoghurt, pancake machine a standard continental breakfast.
WARNING: there is no aircon, so in 34c+ it was a sweat box at night but reception would give you a plug in fan. I would say this was the only downside but if you went outside of a heatwave I don’t think the lack of aircon would be a massive issue.
Excellent location
Small and very cramped room,
