El Portal was perfecto!
Pros:

What an amazing experience at El Portal! It’s like walking back in time to a beautiful, relaxing garden resort right in the heart of Sedona. We had an upstairs room 10 and it was one of the nicest rooms we’ve ever had. We enjoyed the complimentary pool/spa next door n the afternoon and then had dinner at the nearby Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village restaurant El Rincon. After dinner, we enjoyed the Flamenco music in the courtyard. Then, a 3 minute walk to our room where we enjoyed S’mores on the fire pit on our private balcony. Don’t pass this place without stopping…fantastic!

J’ai demandé plusieurs fois une facture à cet établissement, ils m’ont dit oui oui et ne me l’ont jamais envoyé . Et la ils disent que c’est parce que booking a pris en charge le règlement que booking doit m’éditer la facture . C’est inadmissible !!!!

El Portal Sedona Hotel is a hidden gem in Sedona. Book early !
Pros:

The breakfast was a bonus surprise for us. It was enjoyable and fit our needs. Evening wine in the courtyard was awesome. The hotel is secluded well enough that you don't hear anything other than the birds. But yet it is so close to a wonderful shopping and dining area that you need not use your car. Walking the area was a great deal of fun. And the property is centrally located in Sedona so you are very close to most everything you would want to do and see.

We did not know what to expect before arriving. The check in process was very well done. We received a personal room tour and a walk around the property, which is amazing. We especially enjoyed the fire pits in the courtyard and had wonderful conversations with the other guests staying there. The hotel is steeped in history and its interior and exterior reflect this.

The staff went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our time there. There is nothing they won't do or help with and were truly interested in making the experience a very memorable one. We will be going back again and next time stay longer!

Cons:

Nothing....our stay was beyond our expectations.

Would definitely recommend El Portal hotel to friends and family.
Pros:

This was a unique boutique hotel. There were so many nice personal touches (the complimentary snacks, smores kits, fresh eggs and pastries, decor in the lobby and the individual rooms, the courtyard) which made this a special place to stay. The owner and staff were so nice and helpful throughout the stay. It is super convenient to all things in the main town of Sedona.

Nothing. It was all excellent.

El Portal more than lived up to expectations. Can't wait to return for another visit!

Excellent continental breakfast with a nice variety of pastry options, and great coffee, tea, and fruit options to choose from.
Staff was great and we really enjoyed meeting the owner, Steve, in particular who was very gracious and engaging.
