This was our 4th trip to your beautiful hotel! There's nothing not to love about this property, however the staff steals the show. Orsat immediately recognized us after a few years and he takes unbelievable care of us. He's knowledgeable, friendly and follows through on every detail. Seeing Orsat upon arrival was like seeing a old friend.
We've also gotten to know Darko over the years! His professionalism and his care and concern really makes us feel like we are returning home.
We will be back !!

Great location, immaculate rooms and friendly, helpful staff. It’s so close to Old Town and Dance beach. Amazing staff member Niko clued us into Dance beach on the day of a cool amateur water polo match. The ice machine in the hallway was a true lifesaver - enjoy!
I love this luxury historic hotel, which first opened its doors in 1897. It’s just a three-minute walk to Old Town. As a Lifetime Diamond member of Hilton, I was upgraded to a lovely two-room suite, and our other suite was also spacious and very nice. The breakfast was fabulous, and the food and beverage options in the Executive Lounge were excellent. My grandkids particularly enjoyed the indoor swimming pool.
The only place you should consider to stay - the gates to get old city are literally at your doorstep. A lovely hotel and wait staff!
Lovely hotel, awesome location, room well presented and a nice turndown service.
Five night stay for our family of three - all left happy, rested and satisfied. Breakfast was delicious, lounge offered far more than snacks, 8-year-old swam in pool while parents took turns in sauna and steam room. Father and son relaxed in comfortable room with balcony overlooking terracotta roofs, while mother got an unforgettable massage from Milan, the charming masseur. Attractions and restaurants within walking distance. Friendly, helpful staff will point you in the right direction every time. Must stay.
Our stay at Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik was truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by a team that consistently delivered attentive and genuine hospitality. The hotel’s location is exceptional, with beautiful views and the Old Town just a short walk away. The food was excellent, with every meal thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We look forward to returning.🫶
Couldn’t ask for a better hotel and the location was perfect. You are literally at the steps of the old city. The views were amazing, rooms were large and so nice. The breakfast was good and the staff was incredible.
absoltely nothing
I´ve stayed at many 5* hotels over the years, but this was, without question, THE worst experience I have ever had.
I specifically booked a room for 3 adults (Couple + 16y Teen). Before arriving, I contacted the hotel to confirm that the room would have 3 proper beds, not a sofa bed or a temporary folding bed. The hotel reassured me that everything would be fine. However, upon arrival, the third "bed" was nothing more than an improvised rollaway bed, completely different from what had been promised.
I raised the issue with the management, expecting them to either provide the room I had confirmed or offer a reasonable solution. They did absolutely nothing. There was no attempt to resolve the problem, no apology, and no concern for customer satisfaction.
The service at breakfast was equally disappointing. Several staff members were cold, unfriendly, and made us feel unwelcome rather than valued as guests.
To make matters even worse, our room was mysteriously left uncleaned on two separate days. After the overall treatment we received, it honestly felt intentional, almost as if the hotel wanted to make our stay uncomfortable and encourage us to leave.
At the end of our stay, I kindly asked a late checkout. The request was denied without any flexibility, yet the room next to ours was granted one. It was difficult not to feel that we were being treated differently from other guests.
This was the first time in my life that I have felt so poorly treated by 5* hotel. The entire experience was frustrating, disappointing, and far below the standards I have always associated with the Hilton brand.
I cannot recommend this property to anyone
Hotel lovely staff lovely
Good quick service
Location of hotel great
Nothing
We recently spent four days at the Hilton Imperial in Dubrovnik's Old Town, and to say we were disappointed with our experience would be an understatement.
Upon arrival, we informed the staff that we were celebrating our honeymoon, but this was met with little acknowledgement and we did not feel particularly welcomed.
Although our room was not ready when we arrived, we were assisted later that day by a lovely receptionist who completed our check-in professionally and warmly. Unfortunately, our disappointment returned as soon as we entered our room.
We had paid over €600 per night for a standard room. While we understood that a standard room would not offer the same features as a Deluxe or Executive room, we still expected the quality and presentation associated with a five-star hotel. Instead of enjoying even a modest view, our bedroom window looked directly onto an outdoor water tap, and the room itself appeared poorly maintained, with visible stains on the walls.
We returned to reception and spoke to the same helpful staff member, asking whether it would be possible to move to a different room or receive an upgrade. Initially, we were told that an additional charge would apply. However, when we explained that we were considering cancelling the remainder of our stay and requesting a refund, we were then offered a complimentary move to a Deluxe room the next day.
The Deluxe room was in a separate building to the hotel. It was noticeably brighter and certainly an improvement over our original room. However, the overall standard of maintenance still fell well below what we would expect from a hotel of this calibre, and it did not reflect the premium price we had paid and it was inconvenient the fact it was in a separate building.
In addition, on two separate evenings, at approximately 11:00 p.m., we returned to the hotel hoping to enjoy a drink on the terrace before retiring for the night. However, on both occasions there were no staff members at the front reception, the bar area was dark with the lights switched off, and there appeared to be no service available. This was surprising and fell well short of what we would expect from a five-star hotel.
Similarly, during our stay there were no staff members present in the pool or gym areas, which further contributed to the feeling that the level of service and attention did not match the standards associated with a luxury hotel.
The hotel's location is, without question, its greatest asset. Being just ouside Dubrovnik's Old Town was incredibly convenient, and we were especially grateful for this during the heatwave, as it provided a welcome respite from the crowds and high temperatures.
Overall, we would not choose to stay at this hotel again. We felt it was overpriced for what it offered and did not provide the level of service or experience we would expect from a five-star hotel.
Excelente localização, limpeza e maravilhoso café da manhã.
