Fantastic location, just a couple of minutes from City walls. Extremely well maintained iconic hotel, Friendly staff, great breakfast spread. overall luxurious and highly recommended.
Da localização do Hotel.
We had an amazing stay! The staff was so friendly and helpful, it was close to old town, the room was comfortable and beautiful, THE VIEWS!, the amenities were great, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly, highly recommend.
Our family of 5 adults stayed at the beautiful Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik in April of 2026.
What an Outstanding Property this Hilton is! As Hilton Diamond Members, we so greatly appreciated the room upgrades which were facilitated by Martina. The Staff at the Hilton Dubrovnik is like a Family. Several of them have worked together since the Hotel opened. There seriously are not enough accolades for this Hotel!
Front Desk Reception Staff, especially Maro, were warm and welcoming. Ivana, with Food and Beverage, was at all times extremely helpful. Housekeeping is meticulous. Breakfast is served in a beautiful room with outside seating available. Not only is there an outstanding breakfast buffet but hot items from the menu, such as salmon Eggs Benedict, can also be ordered. The Executive Lounge is on the main level and serves up wonderful hot and cold appetizers as well as an array of adult beverages. Last but certainly not least, the location of the Hilton Imperial is just steps from the entrance to Old Town. Wonderful 3 night stay and thanks again, Martina, both for the exceptional room upgrades as well as the Birthday Cake for my Husband!
This was a fabulous hotel . The appearance of the public rooms was beautiful with all the fresh flowers and the attention to detail . Th
stayed here for 4 nights with kids.
There's something pretty magical about Dubrovnik, and the hotel allows you to take the full advantage of it. The proximity allows you to fully immerse into the city at your convenient time such as random stroll to the city to watch the sunset. If you are traveling with young kids (or aging parents) and have unpredictable situations that necessitate quick return to hotels, you will be thankful that the hotel is 5 min away. The hotel also does pretty good job complementing the city in terms of the decor and vibe. It really feels pretty grandeur and elegant.
Having said that, it has its misses on multiple counts.
1) the hotel, while i think technically recently renovated, has had a number of small issues- toilet not flushing well or broken at times
2) the hotel is actually in completely separate 2 buildings. Everything is in the main building, so if you are staying in the other building, you have to make your way to the main building, which is annoying
3) breakfast was very good in my view but somehow no one there told me or it was mentioned anywhere at the table that we could also make a separate made-to-order aside from breakfast buffet. We found out about it 3rd day once we saw the next table.
4) I found the overall service to be a bit distant (not rude but not friendly either). I don't know if this has any cultural background or just us issue but they seem a bit aloof to me. the only exception was the lady at the gym/spa area.
Overall, yes, the hotel is not perfect and it's a shame that there isn't a hotel like this, but the strength is too obvious and too strong to ignore. I'd stay here again (though would request a room in main building next time.
The hotel is absolutely stunning and in a prime location in the magical city of Dubvronik. You are just a two minute walk from the main gate and the best part is that Ubers and taxis can drop you off right in front … no need to worry about navigating any steps/crowds with your luggage like you would if you stayed anywhere in the Old Town! We stayed here during our first visit to Croatia and it was truly an unforgettable trip!
The hotel also has a delicious breakfast buffet, one of the best we’ve had in Europe. The bar is also very chic with a cool vibe.
The Superior King room was spacious for two people although we were disappointed to be put in the “villa” across the way and not the main building. The rooms seemed a bit dated compared to the impressive and modern lobby, leaving us feeling like we were not getting a good value considering what we paid. Despite that, the beds were comfortable and the room was mostly quiet aside from some occasional street noise from vehicles which we appreciated. A highlight for us was that there was ice dispenser that we could access in the villa (very important for us Americans who love their ice 🤪).
Underground parking, located directly beneath the hotel. Hotel location.
The hotel has two buildings. If you get the building next to the main one, you won’t feel like an equal guest. The hotel’s amenities don’t live up to a 5-star standard! At the lobby bar, there was extreme noise from mostly American guests crowding the bar to order their drinks from two overwhelmed bartenders who couldn’t handle the workload. Because, quite simply, two people couldn’t handle it. Room service offered only a very limited selection of drinks and food. Moreover, after 10 p.m., it was no longer possible to order any alcoholic beverages. The service was completely unworthy of a 5-star rating. I had to go out onto the street to buy something. The restaurant’s terrace with a garden was closed. Incomprehensible. Yet everywhere else in the city, everything was open. The room furnishings are sparse and worn. The windows were so dirty that you wouldn’t even see that in a hostel. The bathtub with a shower was average, typical for the American Hilton chain. I couldn’t find a bathrobe or slippers. Breakfast was average, but again, compared to other hotels I visited during my trip, it didn’t match the hotel’s category. I would definitely recommend a different hotel, even one further from downtown—it’ll be cheaper and certainly better. You can easily get to downtown anytime by taxi or bus. Finally, about the price. I paid 400+ euros. I originally wanted to stay longer. But another night over the weekend still started at 1,300 euros! It really isn’t worth the money. I stayed at the best hotels on my trip. They all turned out great. This one was one of the most expensive and, unfortunately, turned out the worst.
desayuno genial
la cena carisima y escasa
las vistas de la habitación
Five star all the way, Marina made us feel like truly welcome guests. The manager, Darko, welcomed us equally warmly. He personally escorted us to our room and offered lots of advice about what we should do and the best time of day to do it.
Everyone at the desk was genuinely friendly, receptive, knowledgable, helpful. They went out of their way to answer any questions, The porter tried to refuse a tip explaining that he was salaried and it wasn’t necessary(!!!) Paula reigns as queen of the executive lounge. Everyone, even housekeeping, is warm and friendly and engaging.
The hotel is updated and beautifully maintained. Lots of USB ports.
Gorgeous views.
Walking distance everywhere, also right by the stop for all the city buses, which is great, because our favorite restaurant, Piramida, is at the end of the route for bus 6. It’s a fun 10 minute bus ride with gorgeous views, well worth it. The seafood and pizza at Piramida outstanding, generously portioned, well priced.
Acoustics in the hotel lobby are so bad. It’s the loudest most definite din we have ever walked into. You can hear the noise outside at courtyard. We had to plug our ears anytime we walked through the lobby.
Our room was comfortable, although the pillows quickly went pancake flat. Three out of the four USB ports in the room did not work.
Breakfast was a huge buffet plus you could order whatever you wanted.. Service was impeccable.
