Pros:

Excellent stay. Great staff and very central to the city facilities. From the moment we got out of our car to the time we left the whole experience was fantastic.

Anniversary happiness

Could be amazing

The hotel itself and amenities were lovely. But the reception and check in staff are a mess! Checking out was easy but our check in was slow and chaotic

Luxurious and welcoming
Pros:

Had a wonderful city break for 2 nights to catch up with my son. Location was perfect we could walk into Melbourne cbd and enjoy the bars. The facilities especially the Turkish sauna was amazing etc. had a wonderful weekend

I loved the pool and other water facilities. The area feels quite luxurious and indulgent. It will keep us coming back.

Cons:

I booked for 3 people in one room. I would have liked to see the room set up accordingly (3 robes and slippers rather than 2)

Mum and daughter get away weekend
Pros:

Perfect location for a mother and daughter get away night in the city. I had an awards presentation night and it was a great location to the awards night just down the road. Some nice places to walk around at Southbank also.

Lovely hotel with character
Pros:

We absolutely loved our stay at The Langham Melbourne and will definitely stay again. The hotel has so much character and a wonderful sense of classic old-world luxury and elegance.

Our corner room on the 16th floor had beautiful views over the river and was spacious and beautifully furnished, with traditional timber furniture, an elegant writing desk and a gorgeous marble bathroom. The bed was honestly one of the most comfortable hotel beds we have ever slept in! We also appreciated the large-screen TV, being able to connect our Fire TV Stick, and the excellent Wi-Fi.

Room service was very quick and the food was delicious. We ordered a pizza and the tomato melody salad and thoroughly enjoyed both.

What really made our stay memorable, though, were the lovely personal touches. When we arrived, the concierge looked incredibly smart in his traditional suit and black hat, complete with a rose in his pocket. I complimented him on how beautifully dressed he was and he immediately offered me his rose! As we were heading out for a walk, he kindly said he would leave it in our room for me. It was such a charming and thoughtful gesture and perfectly captured the warm, old-world hospitality of the hotel.

The location was also excellent, with the river and plenty of restaurants, pubs and shopping all just a short walk away.

A beautiful hotel with character, elegance, comfort and wonderful service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Five stars from us!
