Beautiful location, the hotel is spread over an area close to the sea. It has several access to beaches which are great for swimming and teeming with fish. There are a number of fresh water swimming pools dotted around the area between the hotel and the sea, ideal for cooling off after a bit of sunbathing.
There were plenty of sun beds dotted around all across the pools and main beach. Life guard is overlooking all the time.
The rooms were fine and cleaned every day. The staff were great and very helpful.
We only had breakfast which was buffet style but enough there to choose from. The waiters and waitresses were all very smart and eager to please.
There was a free safe in the room which was helpful and the Wi-Fi was okay.
It was a short walk from the hotel to a small bay with a number of restaurants and bars. Some were very nice indeed and the area was unspoilt.
If you want a quiet, relaxing, plush place to stay this was it.
The beach location was fantastic & numerous swimming pools also to avail of.
We went for half board - food mediocre
Sehr schöne, gepflegte Anlage
Sehr kleiner Safe, 13 Zoll Laptop passte nicht rein
Ligging, uitzicht, klantvriendelijkheid, prima kamers
The hotel is in a great place to access the center of Baia Sardinia, Restaurants, Cafes nearby.
Also boat trips to 'La Madellena' etc can be booked.
I booked a trip to Capo Testa, which looks amazing and different to the local area.
Plenty of other tour options nearby.
You can easily do an hour Hike from each side of the hotel with amazing scenery right on the doorstep.
We paid extra for a sea view and the room we were given was fabulous. WiFi was not available in our room on most occaisions and a very poor speed when (rarely).
The problems we encountered were corrected very quickly, such as the cold tap being totally stuck in the shower.
The shower kept going very hot sometimes 3 times during a shower before returning to the required temperature. This was much more than just when one person used the toilet near to our room.
There was no tea and coffee making facilities in our room. We asked about getting a kettle (as we had bought our own tea and coffee) but were told this was not available. However, after talking to the reception staff our Holiday Representative obtained one for us.
The worst thing of all was the breakfast. The hot food was limited (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and potato cakes) and they were not hot at all. I asked if I could have poached eggs but was told they would cost extra.
Whenever we go on holiday we book bed and breakfast, in order to try local restaurants. But we also arrange for a dinner in the hotel on some evenings. When asking for a table for dinner we were told that it was fully booked. We found out that the hotel gave dinner to several German groups that were not staying in the hotel. We spoke to some English residents who were booked on half board, who told us the dinner was OK but nothing special and very noisy in a room full of Germans who were talking loudly. Fortunately there are plenty of restaurants only short walk away and the food in every restaurant we visited was fabulous.
On our last morning we needed an early breakfast at 5.30am. We were told there would only be cerial, bread rolls, jam and cake plus fresh fruit. There was no fresh fruit or cold milk for the cereal.
All of the staff (except two senior restaurant staff) were superb and the quality of cleanliness throughout the hotel and room cleaning service was excellent.
The private beach and pool areas were wonderful.
Thanks to the hotel we got a free upgrade to a sea view room which was a nice surprise. The view is incredible and the room was spacious and clean, there was also a bath tub. Location is very close to other restaurants and the private beach is definitely a plus. Free parking.
We were missing some basic things like a blanket in the room.. There was no duvet on the bed , just a sheet and as it was not the start of the season yet it was quite chilly. Rooms are a bit outdated but ok. Breakfast was well below average for a 4 star hotel.. couldn't really call it coffee or proper food, very cheap and mass produced. Unfortunately the staff was not very knowledgable during our stay we got sick and also it was raining every day and they couldn't provide us any help on any tips on suggestions on what to do in the island other than looking on google maps and re-sharing the same information which was very odd for a hotel. They also tried to charge us drinks from a bar which we never ordered. Beware that there are only maybe 10 sun loungers in front of the hotel, the rest are just chairs which don't even recline fully so I imagine it is not great for tanning when the hotel is full and it's sunny.
Enjoyed overall but could have been so much better with a few tweaks. The sea view rooms are ok but are lacking some basics. The only mirror in the room was obscured by a TV and as usual not enough plugs, or hangers in the wardrobe for two ladies although very accommodating when you ask for more - no full length mirror. No English speaking channels available on the TV except CNN as the hotel mainly caters for Germans. No tea or coffee in room and no decent ‘snacks’ available if you don’t want to leave the hotel and you’re booked B&B, apart from a very disappointing pizza. Wouldn’t like to be there in high season, the restaurant was fairly chaotic and the sound insulation almost non-existent so I dread to think …
Instalaciones piscinas acceso al mar y vistas habitaciones
The location, access to the beach. The grounds were beautiful. The front desk staff were very helpful.
The breakfast! Very average! The only fresh fruits were cantaloupe and kiwis, every single day for the 6 nights we stayed there. No fresh squeezed juices.
The breakfast hours were from 7 to 10. But when we arrived at 9:30. We felt so rushed. I recognize that they were going to have lunch service in the same room starting at noon, but they were constantly around us collecting stuff from the other tables and then five minutes before 10 o’clock they would come and ask do you need anything else from the buffet table because we’re going to put everything away! Overall, it was not a pleasant experience having breakfast there.
They were not very welcoming and didn’t even greeted us once!
Also, it would be nice to have a coffee/ tea maker in the room. We had a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea. It would’ve been great to be able to have a cup of tea while sitting there enjoying the beautiful view.
La playita, su ubicación y las vistas. Personal muy agradable.
Laa habitacioones , son tal cual las fotos, no son modernas pero tienen un tamaño generoso y estan limoiaa.
Sugerencias , poner reposeras sobre la playa.
Y Ojala temperaran alguna piscina
Perfect
Old not like the decor
Lage, Ausstattung, privater Strand, alles top!
Der Frühstücksraum war uns zu groß und zu laut. Sonst alles gut…
