Un soggiorno indimenticabile, che consigliamo di cuore! ❤️
Siamo stati accolti all’Hotel Baia del Capitano con una cordialità e un calore davvero straordinari. Fin dal primo momento ci siamo sentiti a casa e, durante tutto il nostro soggiorno, siamo stati coccolati e viziati in ogni modo.
Ciò che ha reso la nostra esperienza davvero speciale è stata l’incredibile attenzione e gentilezza di tutto il personale. Sempre sorridenti, disponibili e attenti a ogni dettaglio, hanno saputo farci sentire davvero importanti e benvenuti. Ogni nostra richiesta è stata accolta con grande professionalità e, soprattutto, con tanta spontaneità e calore umano.
Anche dal punto di vista gastronomico siamo stati conquistati: il cibo era delizioso, i consigli sui vini sempre perfetti e i drink al bar semplicemente fantastici. Si percepisce in ogni dettaglio la passione, la qualità e l’amore per l’ospitalità.
Un ringraziamento speciale va a Antonio e a tutti gli altri membri dello staff, che hanno contribuito a rendere il nostro soggiorno così piacevole e speciale. Ognuno di voi ha lasciato un bellissimo ricordo e siamo davvero grati per tutte le attenzioni che ci avete dedicato.

The pool area was great and the beach down the hill with lounges and umbrellas was lovely.

Locatie is oké, strandvonderij mooie baai naast Cefalù.
Oubollig ongezellig hotel. Geen 4 sterren waard! Restaurant voldeed ook niet aan de verwachtingen… onbekwaam personeel.
La cena me descompuso....comida en mal estado..

Ruhige, abgelegene Lage, falls man das sucht... (nur Hotelrestaurants in der Umgebung, keine Supermärkte oder andere Geschäfte)
Auf unserem Trip in Sizilien war es die teuerste und mit Anstand schlechteste Unterkunft - als 4-Sterne-Hotel würden wir es nicht einstufen und die positiven Kundenbewertungen sind für uns nicht nachvollziehbar.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war selbst für italienische Verhältnisse bescheiden, sowohl was die Auswahl wie auch die Qualität betraf. Parkplätze im/beim Hotel waren nicht in genügender Anzahl vorhanden, sodass man das Auto irgendwo hinstellen musste.
Das Schloss für den Tresor musste bei der Rezeption aktiv angefordert werden. Der Kühlschrank im Bungalow funktionierte nicht und als nach zweimaliger Meldunge nichts unternommen wurde, musste es deutlicher formuliert werden und wir bekamen ein Zimmer im Haupthaus.
Dafür sind die Preise in der Minibar mehr als überrissen!

La habitación un poco pequeña por lo que son los espacios de uso común.
Location is amazing (St. Tropez vibes). Roof top views while dining were amazing. Restaurant food was very good. Private parking in front of the house. Concierge services. Cute (smaller) Pool with bar. Easy check-in, early enough at 3pm. Check-out at 11am was later than most hotels so thats nice. Offered us to use the pool for the day as we had a very late flight. Just 10 min car ride from Cefalu centre. Calmer/quieter area away from the main road. Access to a „private“ (shared) beach with a shuttle car. I asked for a quiet room as I had ear surgery, and they gave us a corner room away from the pool area which was kind. Internet was good. TV offered easy access to Netflix.
They reset our room completely while we were at breakfast - so we needed to use the room again before check-out. It looked like they wouldn’t reset it again for the new guests?? Like we used the shower, and the bed again, but when we checked-out, the cleaning staff was already gone? I hope that they always give a clean, new bed and shower to every new guest. Resetting while the old guests have not checked out yet, and then leaving it for the new guests, is not ok. Staff overall was friendly, but 4 star service is different. Not all - Many were great, some really lacked professionalism. E.g. smoking with coworkers while guests were waiting at the bar to be served, spreading a feeling of „don’t annoy me“ in the roof top restaurant. Sometimes we felt like we were bothering someone. BUT: some were extremely attentive and kind. Drinks that are available at the bar downstairs should also be available in the restaurant on the rooftop. Although they accommodated my wish for a quieter room due to my ear surgery, the room they gave us was loud. Noises from other rooms/worker areas that sounded like water pipes and tables being pushed around (for hours and hours even in the early morning hours). Hotel and room interior feels very old and dated, could be updated and made more comfy with decoration.
The property is clean and has a great pool. Our room was quite nice and perfect for our stay.
