Pros:

Friendly helpful staff, clean hotel throughout which has been refurbished to a good standard.
The buffet breakfast was well cooked and plentiful with a wide selection.
The room was cleaned each day and tea/coffee/milk replenished
The free left luggage facility was handy on the last day after checkout

Cons:

Due to the heatwave we slept with the windows open. What I presume to be the kitchen extractor switched on at 6am and was loud but didn't stop us going back to sleep. It's an old building and the only lift is the size of a double wardrobe. This didn't matter to us but may possibly mean a lengthy wait at busy times

Everything was great, accept the room
Pros:

Breakfast was great. Staff were very polite. Location was central and excellent. Room size was great.

Cons:

The room was unbearably hot with no air conditioning, only a small tabletop fan. We even had to sleep with the door propped open one night. Also, the maid left our room door open while we were out, leaving our belongings unsecured.

Pros:

Staff and location were great for us, we had breakfasts in the hotel and they were excellent 👌. Room was basic and clean as was the bathroom.

Cons:

Truthfully the bed was uncomfortable 😫 could feel the wood work of the frame through the very thin mattress, didn't complain at the hotel and I know I should have but I didn't.
Steps up to the building are steep and the lift is very small and slow but does the job.

Pros:

Sea front room with the sea sight. Close to bus stops and centre, reception open all time, bar, cleanliness of the room, internet access, toiletries in small pack rather than in refillable bottles, bath tob with shower.

Cons:

Lack of air-conditioning (though there was a fan). No complimentary water bottles in the room, no mini-fridge.

A wonderful short break while I visited a member of my extended family who is now unable to travel.
Pros:

The hotel exceeded my expectations and was much better than the price would indicate. I had informed the hotel of my disabilities and was assured staff would be available to get my luggage from my car into the hotel and be placed in the lift. This was done promptly. When leaving I asked for help to take my heavy suitcases down as there were three steps up from my room to the lift. A most helpful young man mad them look light as he did this for me. All the staff were charming, kind and so helpful. The food was excellent with a good choice at both breakfast and dinner. The room was spacious and the en-suite very clean and all things worked .

Cons:

The only aspect of the hotel that was difficult was the steps on the entrance. As a person with restricted mobility these a bit steep. There were good handrails on both sides. Staff were quick to ask if I needed help. The answer was no but my rate of movement is slow. The Physio's words "the good go up, the bad go down" rang in my ears as I tackled the steps. The style of the hotel was inkeeping with all those along the promenade at Douglas- they all had steps up the the entrance and some others were steeper or longer.

Thoroughly enjoyed hotel , the people of the isle of mann are extremely friendly.
Pros:

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help me in any way necessary. Highly recommended. They took into account my request for a bath, and upgraded me free of charge. Exceptional service. Breakfast was awesome very wide selection from full Breakfast, fruits and yoghurt, cereals and would cook you fresh poached eggs if requested. Location right on the sea front and bus routes. 5 star service from my point of view.

Cons:

Only, minor quibble. I don't like brown or tomatoe sauce in little sachets.
