Pros:

The customer service at the reception were very welcoming. The rooms we stayed had a beautiful view. The beds were comfortable. Atmosphere at the hotel was excellent.

Decent enough hotel, but overpriced
Pros:

This is a typical large commercial hotel and there's little you could complain about, but nothing to be really enthused about either. I am grateful that they had a room for me, when virtually all other hotels in Reykjavik seemed to be fully booked.

Cons:

Whilst the reception area of the hotel was well presented, the decoration of the room was a bit tired looking, particularly the small bathroom. Even by Icelandic / Scandinavian standards, the accommodation was overpriced. The TV in the room had to be rebooted every day (by unplugging the electricity) before it would show TV channels. The location is not ideal for tourists.
