Nice hotel a little out of main Kowloon and Hong Kong island but easy to access.
Pros:

Access to train station and shopping centre underneath the hotel. Good breakfast. Great housekeeping staff.

Cons:

The pool wasn’t open enough. Every afternoon it closes for 45mins twice. This seems a little excessive. We weren’t even allowed to sit beside the pool when it was being cleaned! It also closes too early in the evening. Hong Kong is very hot and cooling off in the pool later in the evening would be nice.

Pros:

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. It was really clean and super convenient to get to the MTR station. I would highly recommend it.

A great-value choice for family travel
Pros:

It is within a stone’s throw of everything you need. Whether you are travelling for leisure or business, the location is convenient and well suited to both.

Cons:

I stayed in a higher-tier room and did not experience the ageing room issues that some other guests have reported. In fact, my room was in very good condition. I would not necessarily call it a five-star hotel, but 4.5 stars is certainly a fair rating.

I also used the gym. It was basic, but the facilities were in excellent condition.

The Sha Tin location may be less ideal for tourists who want to focus mainly on Central, Tsim Sha Tsui, or Hong Kong Island. That said, New Town Plaza is right nearby, and there are other attractions in the New Territories. One minor point is that not all staff speak fluent English. Just be patient, they are willing to help.
