The hotel was very well located, and the staff were very friendly, however I would say they were not always the most helpful, they gave a lot of information on how to do things, like booking a taxi, but would never offer to do it themselves. Hotel was clean as well.
Overall, the hotel did a feel a little bit outdated, a bit like a hotel from 90s. Everything was clean and nice, but just didnt feel so up to date. The beds were quite hard and rooms quite bare.
Es war alles sehr schön. Tolle ausgestattete Zimmer. Sehr sauber. Sehr netter Service. Das Frühstück war Mega lecker. Wir bekamen jeden Tag pro Person eine Flasche Wasser. Die Lage war perfekt, ach wenn es an der Straße lag. Wir hatten direkt vor der Haustür einen Parkplatz.
Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.

Het ontbreken van een zwembad was een grote teleurstelling. Hierdoor waren we dagelijks verplicht om naar het strand te gaan, waar we telkens €45 per dag moesten betalen voor twee ligstoelen en een parasol. Het zou eerlijk zijn om dit duidelijk te vermelden bij het boeken.
Daarnaast was er geen gratis parkeergelegenheid. De badkamer was erg klein; het was onmogelijk om er met twee personen tegelijk in te staan. Ook ontbrak er een spiegel in de slaapkamer.
De matras was van slechte kwaliteit en bood weinig comfort. Tot slot was de kleerkast veel te klein voor twee personen. Een groot deel van de kast werd bovendien ingenomen door de minibar en de kluis, waardoor er onvoldoende ruimte overbleef om onze kleding op te bergen.
Great location, very clean hotel, wished I had booked a balcony room, as there is no outdoor space at all.
The days we spent on the beach, we did through beach Irene, and paid 42 euros a day for a kazebo, as it was very hot, and needed the shade.
The buffet breakfast was superb, and all the staff were helpful, I didn’t like the A La carte breakfast, undercooked poached eggs, but was not a deal breaker, the bar area is lovely, but no atmosphere,,,, but the Campari sodas were excellent.
Great base for lucca, Pisa, Florence, and fabulous fish restaurants in Viareggio.
Overall a very good small hotel.
