We thoroughly recommend staying here & will definitely book again when we stay in Ōtautahi
Pros:

From the moment we arrived, the property was breathtaking. The staff, especially Justin, went out of their way for us. We arrived early & that wasn’t a problem, nothing seemed a problem. Exceptional service we are definitely coming back again!

Cons:

Next door to us, had long term tenants/owners that had a dog & they made parking difficult with their vehicles.

Pros:

Great staff, beautiful refurbished room, the Outlook over the lake and golf course to the mountains is stunning.
The coming and goings from the airport and bird life in the lake are entertaining.
It's simply a place of relaxation that definitely has an X factor.

Cons:

There were a few maintenance issues with a newly refurbished room we didnt expect, we pointed the issues out to management who were very grateful for our feedback.
We are adaptable people and the issues did not take away from our enjoyment of our stay, we look forward to returning in August.

Excellent
Pros:

Loved the fact we had access to a small deck at the level of the lake
Bed really comfortable.
Nice selection of teas and the coffee machine was great

Cons:

AC not really warm enough for me (it was a cold night)
Would have loved to have had access to a heated pool or gym facilities... but not available at this hotel

Pros:

Staff were great,
Room layout was ok

Cons:

Maintenance was not kept up, with mould in all the grout in bathroom and mould on blind in bathroom,
Room needed a recondition with doors scratched, appliances old and scratched and dented
Wall in bedroom next to bed was leaking from bathroom and had mould on it

Gorgeous getaway close to town
Pros:

The setting is so pretty and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dining was lovely and delicious. The bed was soooo comfortable and the room was sunny and warm.

Cons:

The furniture was a bit old and tired. The TV channel programmes weren't operating.

Pros:

Lovely resort. Easy to get to the Airport.
Breakfast options are good. Good walking tracks if you are not a golfer.

Cons:

As each unit is individually owned, its a pity there doesnt seem to be a minimum standard for owners to adhere too.
Our Lakefront Villa had no outdoor furniture, where others did, so we could not sit outside in the sun.
Kitchen was a full size kitchen which lacked basic cooking utensils. Only bare minimum and no basic condiments ( salt, pepper, oil, paper towel etc which we had in a other room type previously. So you would have to go and buy it all just to cook.

Lovely stay would stay again
Pros:

Stunning views, room a lot bigger than expected.

Cons:

There were no mugs for coffees in the morning and some ants on the deck and a couple came inside.
