Great place to stay with many places to eat close by
Pros:

This was the third stay we have had here.
They welcomed us with our dog an had a good breakfast in the morning.

Comfy but warm room
Pros:

The hotel was aesthetically beautiful, from before you enter to the rooms; they were very spacious. Beds were very comfortable and the showers were like new! Water pressure was great with hot water.

Cons:

1. The air conditioning would make a horribly loud sound when you lowered it to 64° F and at 67° it felt stuffy in the room.
2. The breakfast was not fabulous as other reviewers had mentioned. It was average because it was exactly what every hotel provides as a continental breakfast: powdered eggs, biscuit, cereals, fruit, yogurt, and a waffle maker. Fabulous should be reserved for exceeding expectations.

Good value for the money.
Pros:

The size of the room was nice, but the fold out couch and chair were worn out and uncomfortable. Not the friendliest staff we encountered during our travels, but it was a busy site.

Cons:

The room had an odd odor, but I assume it is because the location allows pets. Worn out, stained & uncomfortable fold out sofa and chair.

Wonderful stop in Amarillo
Pros:

Clean and comfortable. We stay there at least once a year. Staff is friendly and rooms are great. Good breakfast, coffee is always available and there's a good Mexican restaurant across the street!

Route 66 stay
Pros:

It was easily accessible from I40

Cons:

Saw a guest letting his pet poop right on the driveway where you pull your car to the office area. He didn't even bother to clean it up.
