La ubicación, el desayunar de la panadería de abajo, sus cafés con leche y el personal totalmente amable y predispuesto a ayudar. Una experiencia buenísima.
The location was perfect for our 4 night stay in Tokyo. The hotel is in a very quiet area of Shinjuku (Nishi), just across from a shady park. It’s a short walk across the park to the Tochomae metro station and to the Tokyo metropolitan building. The hotel is a 15-20 minute walk to the heart of Shinjuku and to the Meiji jingu shrine.
Our room was small but functional (we travel very light), and very quiet.
We didn’t include breakfast with our stay but enjoyed really good coffee (perfect cortados) from the cafe and delicious pastries from the bakery. We even enjoyed a happy hour draft on the small pleasant terrace.
The staff is courteous and competent handling luggage transfers etc.
I stressed about booking a hotel in Shinjuku are after so many people advised me to stay in Shibuya- but I am so glad that I didn’t heed their advice.
The hotel doesn’t feel Japanese in the slightest, but maybe that’s an okay way to start a trip.
The beds are a little too firm.
The bakery observes “vegan Sundays” so on Sundays the pastries and sandwiches aren’t as good ( except if you’re a vegan- obv).
Personnel serviable et aimable. Chambre propre et bien équipée
Les chambres vraiment très petites. Quand on reste plusieurs nuits cela devient vite compliqué. Un peu loin du métro.
Cicho, spokojnie, smaczne śniadania.
The size of the room - spacy!
Quiet
Clean
Lovely gowns - i wanted to buy them, but they were not available.
The website says there are pajamas, but they provided gowns, not PJs.
Il design, la posizione centrale e comoda alla metro, i due fantastici ristoranti all’interno della struttura.
Colazione non a livello della struttura.
Clean and modern. Great restaurant and bakery downstairs. Staff super friendly.
The rooms are small which is normal for Tokyo but hard with suitcases. Also the bathroom was one of the smallest we had while travelling around Japan.
Location was a bit far from shibuya area and the airport. But nice parks close by plus the government metropolitan observation building and light show for free in walking distance.
Friendly and helpful staff. They spoke good English.
It was by far the least enjoyable hotel of my trip to Japan.
1. Hotel was loud. No noise isolation on the room door so everytime someone spoke in the hallway, it woke us (and it was often because other guests were loud and disrespectful).
2. The breakfast was considered as really good on Booking but 1/3 of it was to make a simple salad. Hot food was really really limited : you can do 3/4 of an English breakfast, there was a soup and butter chicken. And that's it. Then there was a selection of bread and some charcuterie. There was no Japanese section for those who want to enjoy local food.
3. Mattress and pillows were not comfortable at all. We didn't sleep well.
Amazing location and quiet. Restaurant also great.
Location. Restaurant. Friendly staff. Nice vibe in lobby.
Overlooked booking breakfast for the following day. Not advised. On the day charged extra. Bad feeling.
