Pros:

Staff were friendly - but not helpful

Cons:

We recently stayed at T Heritage Hotel Chiang Mai and unfortunately our experience didn’t live up to expectations, especially considering the high room rates.

The staff were lovely, friendly, and polite throughout our stay. However, when we complained about the excessive noise, they were not particularly helpful and simply suggested that we take a Grab to buy earplugs. The hotel advertises soundproof rooms, but this was one of the noisiest hotels we have ever stayed in, and our sleep quality was very poor.

The hotel also seems overly focused on charging guests for extras. Thin glass tumblers were placed in the bathroom, and when one accidentally slipped from my hand and broke, we were charged 100 baht, despite the glasses appearing to be very inexpensive. There is even a sign at check-out asking guests to allow 10 minutes for a room inspection, which creates an atmosphere of mistrust.

Some of the marketing is also misleading. The photos suggest that afternoon tea is served in your room, but we were required to have it in the restaurant instead. Additionally, afternoon tea is only provided once per stay, which was not made clear.

Breakfast is made to order, but the menu is repetitive, and the buffet selection is minimal and unappetising.

There was a frog in the room and we never saw it cleaned. There were no steps into the pool from the room, a sad oversight and ruined the point of pool access rooms.

Overall, while the staff were warm and friendly, the lack of soundproofing, poor handling of guest concerns, misleading presentation of amenities, and numerous extra charges made this stay disappointing and not good value for money.

T Heritage Hotel Sets the Gold Standard

My wife and I recently spent six wonderful nights at T Heritage Hotel in Chiang Mai, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. After three weeks of traveling throughout Vietnam and Thailand and staying in five different hotels—all of them very nice—T Heritage Hotel was, without question, our absolute favorite.

Perfectly located in Chiang Mai’s Old City, the hotel places you right in the heart of the cultural experience, within easy walking distance of excellent restaurants, massage spas, laundry services, and local attractions.

The property itself is beautifully decorated, impeccably maintained, and incredibly welcoming. We stayed in the Executive Suite (1 King with Balcony), and absolutely loved it. The room was spacious, tastefully furnished, extremely comfortable, and immaculately cleaned each day.

What truly made this stay unforgettable, however, was the exceptional staff. Every team member we encountered was professional, courteous, warm, and genuinely helpful. Special thanks to Mark, Opal, the other young lady at reception, and Gift and Gig in the restaurant for their outstanding hospitality and kindness. They made us feel truly valued and cared for throughout our stay.

The breakfast was excellent each morning, with a great variety of delicious options, and the overall value for the quality of accommodations, service, and location was remarkable.

If we are blessed to return to Chiang Mai, T Heritage Hotel will unquestionably be our first choice. My wife and I wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend this outstanding hotel to anyone seeking an exceptional stay in Chiang Mai.

Lovely stay in Chiang Mai
Pros:

This was the perfect hotel. In the heart of Chiang Mai, clean, and staff is friendly and helpful. I would spring for the king room with the pool off the balcony. It was the perfect way to cool off midday after touring and exploring.

Bonus - loved the complimentary mocktails and afternoon tea.

Cons:

Toiletries were all available, except the lotion!

Café da manhã excelente, com escolhas a lá varre também.
Restaurante muito bom, ótimo bar.
Funcionários sempre prestativos, muito atentos e simpáticos.
Localização boa, templos e bons restaurantes a uma curta caminhada. Chinelos e roupões disponíveis.
Chaleira no quarto. Chá e snacks de boas vindas. Drink cortesia na chegada.

Pros:

Great little hotel in a great location. Nice pool, room and restaurant steps away from plenty to do!

The staff was lovely! The location is GREAT! Very close to the airport and also walkable to the various old town gates which offered a street food event one night. Walkable to many good massage places as well. It was very safe and quiet. The breakfast was really good! Eggs to order, etc. in addition to a buffet. The restaurant and front desk staff were great!

Nothing! We had a great stay and the price was very reasonable.
