Lord Camden Inn

The LordCamden Inn has clear strengths and a few notable drawbacks. Its excellent location makes it very convenient for exploring the area, and guests consistently praise the friendly, helpful staff who create a welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast is also a highlight, offering a good selection and a solid start to the day.

However, the rooms are underwhelming, with uncomfortable beds and pillows that can affect sleep quality, and noise is sometimes an issue. Practical amenities are limited, including a lack of mirrors outside the bathroom and a very small TV. Overall, while the location, service, and breakfast stand out, comfort and amenities fall short, and I would not stay here again.

Nice walkable place…hotel was really nice, clean…beds were comfy..and the breakfast was delicious!!!! Would definitely recommend this place if you are staying in the area

Historic building and central location, with a small balcony for people watching.

My husband and I eloped in Camden and stayed at the Lord Camden Inn. The accommodations are so charming, the breakfast is incredible, and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay a special experience. 10/10. We are looking forward to coming back.

Location near the water was perfect. Walkable to shops and restaurants. The included breakfast was much better than your standard hotel breakfast - those cran-orange muffins were stellar and the coffee was excellent. Room was spacious and comfortable. Including a carafe of water in the room was a nice touch. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, too!

The Lord Camden Inn far exceeded our expectations! The staff at the front desk were lovely and Ana offered great tips on things to do around the area, circled spots on maps, etc. She was delightful and so welcoming!
Rooms were well appointed, and the shower heads/water pressure were fantastic! We had a view overlooking the river which offered a tranquil escape after a day of exploring the charming Camden harbor. This hotel staff truly goes to great lengths to welcome their visitors. We saw furry friend welcome signs complete with water bowls and treat jars. My daughter received a whole booklet of coloring pages, crayons, a sweet note and a handmade teddy bear. The Lord Camden Inn adds that extra special touch that makes you feel welcome (even full water carafes already set up in room). They have thought of everything! The breakfast on site was also exceptional and the overall location to shops and restaurants is walkable. We only wish we would have stayed longer on our visit!

Right in the middle of Camden. Had a homely quality to it with friendly staff and nice room.

My husband and I stayed at the Lord Camden Inn recently. The hotel is incredibly clean. The staff is incredibly friendly. The breakfast that is included wonderful. The hotel is right on Main Street very convenient to all of the amenities in Camden.

Positives: The hotel's proximity to the ice cream stand and the valet parking service.

Everything else: The hotel staff do only the bare minimum. When I asked for assistance with making a reservation at a restaurant (other than the one the hotel recommends), I was simply told, "Call them yourself."
The room faces the street and is not well insulated from noise. Truck traffic starts as early as 5:00 a.m. There is no effective way to block the sunlight from entering the room.

The mattress is old and uncomfortable. The room was not clean. One of the drinking glasses had visible lipstick marks on it. The balcony was covered with dust, including the railing and the air-conditioning unit.

Overall, the hotel does not provide good value for the price.

Stayed in Room 410 which was an excellent room with a balcony that looks over the town. It also has a wide view of the bay. Staff were very attentive. I recommend using the parking valet which always took great care of us. Self parking is also relatively easy and a short walk away.
