Pros:

Great stay with a beautiful Manhattan view

We had a very good stay at Homewood Suites in Edgewater. The staff were friendly, welcoming and ready to help 24/7. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable, including the bathroom. We specifically booked a room with a Manhattan skyline view, and it was absolutely worth it.

The breakfast was good, with plenty of options, and on Wednesdays the hotel also organizes a pleasant social evening with food and drinks.

The hotel is located in a clean and quiet area, with many useful places nearby, including Trader Joe’s, Target, Mitsuwa Marketplace, restaurants, diners and fast-food options. SoJo Spa Club is also close, and I highly recommend booking an afternoon or evening there toward the end of your trip—it is worth every penny.

Getting into Manhattan is relatively easy. Bus stops are only a 2–5 minute walk from the hotel, and the 158 bus takes you directly to Port Authority in New York. You can also take the bus toward Port Imperial if you prefer to cross into Manhattan by ferry.

All in all, we had a great stay and would happily return. I recommend this hotel 100%.

La ubicación cerca de la parada 158 que lleva a NYC.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui per circa 9 giorni. La stanza (eravamo in 3 persone) era enorme, con due letti matrimoniali e un divano letto; anche la cucina, dotata di frigorifero, congelatore, fornelli e microonde, era comodissima.
Lo staff è stato gentilissimo e super disponibile. Siamo arrivati alle due di notte e ci ha accolti un ragazzo molto cordiale; non abbiamo pagato alcun supplemento né per il check-in notturno né per aver lasciato i bagagli lì l’ultimo giorno, dato che avevamo il volo a mezzanotte.
Le stanze erano super pulite, con il servizio in camera ogni giorno. Asciugamani per il corpo e viso cambiati ogni gg. La colazione nella lobby era buonissima, ancora più ricca il sabato e la domenica. Molto comodo anche il distributore d'acqua all'entrata, vicino all'ascensore.
Al check-in ovviamente chiedono la cauzione, circa 150 dollari, restituita poi dopo 2 giorni.
Anche la posizione molto comoda, vicino all'hotel c'è la fermata dell'autobus 158 che in 25 minuti lascia proprio vicino a times square, a porth authority bus station (il prezzo dei biglietti un po altino, calcolando circa 5 dollari andata e 5 per il ritorno)

Cons:

Renderei l'accesso limitato ai soli ospiti dell'hotel (magari attraverso il numero della camera) nelle ore notturne.
Possono entrare tutti purtroppo, migliorerei un po la sicurezza

A very nice place for families, big and comfortable. We had a relaxing time.

We would have liked to have waffles every day but It was Just at the weekend.
We were expecting some cheese or ham too for breakfast.
We were expecting a social evening with drinks on Wednesdsy but there was not and we were not informed if It was in another day.

Hotel ok, dobry na budzetowy pobyt.

Śniadania były ok, na 8 dni 4 dni woda i kawa wieczorem nie była dostępna, musieliśmy się upominać. Codzienni wymieniane ręczniki i ścielone lozko. Przemiły personel.

Cons:

Umywalka w apartamencie jest poza łazienką, więc susząc włosy osoby w sypialni miały dyskomfort, wszystko bylo widać i słychać. Byliśmy w 2 różnych pokojach, w drugim nie dało się wyłączyć klimatyzacji, w ścianie byl mechanizm- bardzo głośny. Hotel położony jest w 3 strefie od Terminal Bus, 30 minut jazdy autobusem, koszt biletu to 5,45 USD od osoby.
