Pros:

Very quaint, stunning views and the pool area was quiet. Good wife and good in room entertainment system. Maintenance were very prompt.

Cons:

Like others have said, needs a revamp, the bar for the pool was back in the main building as the pool bar was closed, very slow service at the bar and we had a suite but the living area lacked a luxurious feel with just 2 chairs, a cheap basic table facing a tv. Was also surprised that a 5 star hotel does not have any hair conditioner!

Pros:

De pianomuziek bij het ontbijt was erg fijn.

Cons:

Veel chloor in het bubbelbad, waardoor chloordampen vrijkwamen bij het aanzetten van de bubbels.

Buenas vistas, localización excelente, y desayuno estupendo
Pros:

El desayuno era increible. Había mucha variedad y estaba todo muy bueno.
La habitación era muy espaciosa y las vistas desde el balcón eran espectaculares.

Cons:

A veces creo que había un poco de desorganización entre los trabajadores del hotel.

También, por el precio que habíamos pagado, me sorprendió que se nos exigiesen 10€ más por día para aparcar el coche de alquiler dentro del hotel.

Fenomenal
Pros:

Adorámos tudo. Hotel clássico, com requinte. Apreciámos o silêncio na piscina, ambiente sereno e tranquilo para uma estadia relaxante. O espaço exterior do pequeno almoço excecional, ao som de um pianista a tocar ao vivo. Será, certamente, o hotel onde nos hospedaremos sempre que regressarmos à Madeira.

Great hotel, nice location and view. breakfast could be better, however, live piano made up for it
Pros:

Really nice hotel, great rooms and big bed. The hotel is an adult only hotel and had a great mix between all ages. The breakfast was okish, not spectacular but was doing the job. Pool and view are amazing. As well the live piano music during breakfast.

Cons:

During the breakfast there was a guy with a big bird. This was to take a picture with or to look at. However it was really un appropriate, the bird was caged and really did not bring any additional value to te guest experience.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft, wo man es sich richtig gut gehen lassen kann.
Pros:

Das Zimmer war wunderschön eingerichtet. Wir hatten sogar einen kleinen Garten. Der Service war super und alle Mitarbeiter waren äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders die schöne Poolanlage haben wir sehr genossen. Man hat von der Anlage aus einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Stadt. Für das Frühstück hatte man eine sehr große Auswahl und es war wirklich köstlich.

Superbe séjour !
Pros:

Superbe hôtel très reposant, très bien situé, très propre et disposant d'une vue magnifique.
Le petit déjeuner est excellent et le restaurant divin avec un très bon rapport qualité prix.
Mention spéciale pour tout le personnel qui fait preuve d'une extrême gentillesse et qui fait tout pour vous satisfaire.
La piscine est fantastique avec une vue extraordinaire.
Nous sejournerons de nouveau avec joie au Quinta Funchal Gardens lors de notre prochain séjour à Madère.

Cons:

Les chambres mériteraient d'être rafraichies (moquette) mais franchement cela n'a en rien terni notre séjour car la chambre est propre, (ménage fait chaque jour), spacieuse et la literie excellente.
En bref, que du positif !

Gyönyörű kilátás, remek reggeli és vacsora, jól felszerelt szoba és kedves személyzet. Más nem is kellhet. Külön kiemelném a a szálloda kertjét, amely tényleg elképesztő

Cons:

A szobák berendezése fölött eljárt egy picit az idő, kopottasak a burkolatok, ütött-kopott a fürdőszoba. De ez nekünk nem vont le semmit az élményből.
