Pros:

Lage war nicht zentral, aber höher gelegen, wodurch man die ganze Stadt überblicken konnte. Das Hauseigene Restaurant ist der Wahnsinn.

Cons:

Das ganze Hotel riecht wie ein Schwimmbad.

Le personnel est charmant et fait son maximum avec les moyens du bord. L'hôtel est bien placé et le restaurant est bon.

Cons:

L'hôtel ne mérite pas ses 5 étoiles. La moquette est tachée et sale, les salles de bain sont équipées de baignoire avec un rideau en plastique... Une énorme déception pour nous qui nous attendions à beaucoup mieux.Nous avions une fuite dans notre chambre nous avons eu une nouvelle que le lendemain. Nous avons tout de même obtenu un repas offert en dédommagement.

A estrutura do hotel é incrível, comida excepcional e quartos bem arrumados e muito bem localizado.

Happy to stay here
Pros:

Everything was perfect! The gardens are beautiful. The room was clean, and we had housekeeping every day. The pool with the view is amazing. There were plenty of parking spaces, and even at night we could always find a place to park. I totally recommend this hotel.

Pros:

Nice clean room and hotel. Great breakfast and super comfy bed.

Cons:

Bed a bit too big. Too far from centre of town. Charging guests to park is not impressive at all so we parked on the road. Very steep entrance.

Inte nöjd...
Pros:

Fin utsikt över staden och havet.

Cons:

Vi var allt annat än nöjda med detta hotell, det var gammalt slitet, badrummet var ofräscht och städningen var inte den bästa. Jag tappade ett glas på heltäckningsmattan, plockade bort dom stora glasbitarna och tänkte att resten skulle damsugas bort, men det låg kvar fram tills vi fick byta rum.
Frågade om det fanns ett annat rum som var bättre, fick se ett men det var tyvärr lika dåligt. Skrev då till booking och helt plötsligt fanns det ett rum som var helt nyrenoverat och jätte fint som vi fick byta till!
Frukosten var helt okej, det fanns inte så stort utbud och kom du efter 9.30 så var det mesta slut.
Vi valde detta hotell lite på grund av att det fanns både inomhus och utomhus pool, dock var ingen av poolerna uppvärmda och gick inte att använda. Spat var tråkigt och inte så mysigt.
Hotellet ligger ganska långt från stan, ca 25 minuter att gå och otroligt backigt, inget för den som har svårt att gå.

Tolles und reichhaltiges Frühstück, top Lage mit Blick auf Funchal, schöne Außenanlagen mit Pool

Teilweise sehr enge Parkplätze hinter einer Mauer - vor allem problematisch, wenn man ein großes Auto hat und die breiten Parkplätze schon belegt sind

Elegantes Haus mit Meer / Mehrblick in ruhiger Lage
Pros:

Sehr elegantes Haus, aber teils abgewohnt, Foyer und Speisesäle großzügig eingerichtet, die Stoffbezüge der Sessel sind leider komplett verschmutzt, da muss dringend mal gereinigt werden, die Teppiche und Schränke sind stark abgenutzt und Wannen nicht mehr zeitgemäß.
Die Poolanlage ist groß und sehr modern, tolle Innenausstattung und sehr gepflegte Außenanlage.
Alles in allem ein schönes Haus in guter Lage, können wir nur empfehlen

Pros:

het ontbijt was heerlijk, en het personeel was vriendelijk!

Cons:

De afzuiging van de badkamer werkte niet naar behoren, dit zorgde voor een erg vochtige badkamer.
Om de auto op het terrein te parkeren moest je 10 euro per nacht betalen, dit vond ik persoonlijk best een overbodig hoog bedrag.
