Location was perfect for the NEC. It was very comfortable and staff were friendly.
Excellent hotel. Well positioned to walk (20 minutes) to the NEC. Car parking free for 24 hours with overnight stay, £5 per block of 3 hours thereafter, so excellent value if visiting the NEC.

Close to Birmingham Airport. Has a pool and sauna.
Bookingbug.com or/and the hotel messed up our reservation. We'd booked a "family room" with email confirmation from the site might I add, yet had a smaller room on arrival. The hotel said that booking.com sent through the wrong info and booking.com are blaming the hotel. We should've had a family room for 5 occupants instead we had a "quad room" which was suitable for 4 yet there was 5 of us.
The hotel is fairly run down.

No air con in room during this heatwave We were told it was only in superior rooms ,tried to upgrade but they were all taken,so got a fan from reception which was neither use nor ornament.it broke down .
The location was so close to the nec, it was excellent for us after visiting the peppa pig space adventure. My daughters loved the pool and the jacuzzi is so close that I can use it and supervise my daughter in the shallow pool. Great bed and room...security deposit refunded within hours of check out.
No ac in room just a desk fan made for a difficult nights sleep in the heatwave.
Rooms were decorated to an old fashioned style, however the important parts were great - clean bathroom, comfy bed and great service added to the experience
The spa and swimming pool were nice.
The room was dated. No air con so very hot. Our room was next to a busy road so very noisy with the window open. The shower was very poor - it dribbled, even after asking for it to be fixed. He location was not great for the NEC as it was not a pleasant walk along the busy road, particularly at night.
