Dated hotel with a stale smell and old carpets and furniture. Bed mattresses were cheap and felt unstable.
The food in the restaurant was extremely nice, I had the Sri-Lankan curry as recommended by the waiting staff. I really enjoyed the size of my bath and enjoyed having a soak at the end of a long day at the NEC.
If i had to really nit-pick to find something to answer this, the view from my room left much to be desired, although, i also understand that it is what it is, not everyone gets a view in the same direction.

Walking distance to train station, NEC and Pulse arena and of course shops. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Bar is very reasonably priced, and bar food is really nice. Leisure facilities are really nice and kept clean.

Proximity to NEC, but still a walk in the rain! Was able to keep my bags there for the day. Very standard hotel, looks a bit better in the pics than in real life
You’re paying for proximity and convenience, not for anything special.
The property was very clean upon arrival.
Wouldn't recommend staying at this property if you are flying early the next day. Our room was located near the restaurant/ back bin area and the noise was very disruptive until 11-12pm. Through no fault of the hotel, the guests were unbelievably loud, blasting music and shouting until 10.20pm. We called reception to complain of the noise and it did stop about 30 minutes after this however the clean up noise from downstairs continued.

Excellent hotel, easy walk to the Birmingham International station, comfy room and bed.
Close to nec friendly staff
Pool and jacuzzi area are so outdated look dirty and uninviting and need an update me and my partner while in the jacuzzi noticed a musty smell to realise it was the water even after showering my hair still smelt like it and my costume when dry smelt like a damp musty smell was awful, the bathroom in hotel room is probably same as when built, furniture was also dated, we visited the restaurant and paid £11.50 for a prawn starter to get 4 small prawns on some peppers and onion lucky both are mains was nice but not worth £30 each nice..... won't be returning i felt so dirty knowing the water smelt like that and I'd been sitting in it!!!!!
