Exceptional hospitality, thoughtful amenities, and one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in Carmel.
Pros:

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent, and the entire property was quiet, relaxing, and beautifully maintained. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast, which was freshly prepared and delivered directly to our room each morning—a wonderful touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help. The hotel also offers Tesla charging stations, which was incredibly convenient for our road trip. The location is perfect, just minutes from Carmel Beach, restaurants, and the famous 17-Mile Drive. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

Honestly, nothing comes to mind. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we had a wonderful stay.

Heartfelt Hospitality on the top of the Hill
Pros:

The staff was outstanding and consistently accommodating to any requests or inquiries made before and during our stay. The convenience of being able to walk to town and (a bit longer) stroll through the storied streets to the beach was wonderful. Daily morning breakfasts were a nice, simple way to start the day. Parking was always available and the room was a wonderful place for us to rest and recharge for our many adventures. A great first time visit to Carmel, likely won’t be our last in part on account of the hospitality of Tradewinds.

Would’ve been great to have the option for an earlier breakfast delivery

Nice visit!
Pros:

Excellent place to stay! Fairly easy walking to restaurants and the shopping. Carmel is a beautiful place and the Tradewinds added to that beauty. Great breakfast brought to your room each day. The room is very comfortable with a fireplace to add to the ambiance of a nice visit

Pros:

Grateful they let us early check in by an hour. Having an EV charger was convenient. Amazing location. Free parking.

Cons:

Old building. Old bathroom. Cheaply refurbished. Thin walls. Could early everything coming from the neighbors and upstairs guests. I wouldn’t call it a hotel.

It was great overall. Parking is extremely tight. Staff was very friendly.
Pros:

Very nice hotel, the rooms were just extremely hot and the suggested fix was a fan that barely blew air.

Cons:

There was someone smoking near our room and I told the front desk about it the next morning and they said I should have called them as the property is supposed to be smoke free. Zen fountain in our room didn't work.

This was my second stay here, and will definitely be back!
Pros:

Very friendly staff. Great location. Nice sized room with a gas fireplace and balcony for fresh air. We had a little ocean view from the balcony, and that was pretty cool. We were near the buddha fountain is sounded great and calming. They had a car charger available, which takes a little stress off of finding a hook up in town.
