Had an excellent visit and we would stay again.
Pros:

Large comfortable room. Hearty full breakfast in the morning. Very close to Blarney castle. Lots of parking.

It was overrated
Pros:

Proximity to local sight seeing and facilities

Cons:

The room was incredibly stuffy, no air movement at all. There were two pedestal fans in the room that needed to be on all night.

Fantastic location and lovely hotel
Pros:

The hotel was beautiful, room was great, food very good, and the Woollen Mill shop was spectacular. The location was great, a two minute walk from Blarney Castle and getting to Cork by bus was easy. A great place to stay.

Great....But needs a few changes.
Pros:

Location is fabulous. Food very good and that was dinner and breakfast.

Cons:

The bed was far too soft. The hot water from the rap was like a boiled kettle ie. far too hot and our room had one window only and it was a heatwave when we were there.

Pros:

The room was quite spacious with a very good soundproofing and a comfortable bed. The staff was exceptionally friendly, accommodating and helpful. Bathroom was a bit outdated and the bathtub needed a better drainage, other than that, great stay. The hotel's interior is beautiful. Blarney woollen Mills was just next door and I've got a discount at check in to use in the shop.
