Balmy in Blarney
Pros:

Brilliant location, friendly staff, great to have amenities like the gift shop and pub on site. Great location for visiting the Castle

Cons:

This wouldn't normally be a problem, but it was mid summer and very hot when we stayed. The rooms were very hot, despite the fans provided. Probably because we had a room that got more sun than usual. Thankfully, nice flavoured cold water available on tap at reception.

Such a great experience in a quaint town!
Pros:

Wonderful and beautiful! Breakfast was amazing!

Cons:

Rooms were a bit snug. Coffee was not so great. We didn’t have a Nespresso machine in our room, but we saw it in another room. So sad for us!

Bonito hotel con camas extragrandes
Pros:

Hotel bastante grande confortable. Nos pusieron 4 habitaciones juntas :-) Las habitaciones tenían dos camas dobles grandes y muy cómodas y un ventanal grande. Las cortinas quitaban mucha luz porque eran grandes y opacas. El baño tenía bañera y un detalle que me gustó fue la alfombrilla antideslizante. Por suerte teníamos dos ventiladores ya que hizo mucha calor esa noche. La chica del desayuno fue encantadora y el desayuno fue muy variado. Detalles de agua de cortesía, café, té y galletas son muy bienvenidos. Parking grande y cómodo.

Cons:

Hay varios edificios con el mismo nombre y puede ser confuso para el checkin. La tarde que llegamos hacía calor y la habitación al estar en la segunda planta y cerrada tenía mucho calor acumulado. Tuvimos que abrir la ventana a tope y dormir con ella abierta toda la noche y los ventiladores. Una sugerencia sería abrir las ventanas con más antelación para quitar el exceso de calor en días así.

Really enjoyed this hotel
Pros:

Location was excellent, right next door to Blarney Woollen Mills shopping . Plenty of parking. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Bar food was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Over priced and over rated
Cons:

I recently stayed at the hotel and found the rooms to be comfortable and perfectly adequate. However, I was very disappointed with the food, especially as I regularly eat in the other restaurants at Blarney Woollen Mills and have always had good experiences there.

Breakfast was particularly poor. The sourdough bread was rock hard and inedible. I was very hungry but ended up leaving it because it simply wasn't enjoyable to eat. Overall, the quality of the food did not match the standard I have come to expect from Blarney Woollen Mills.

I understand that prices are higher because of the hotel's location beside a major tourist attraction, but the quality of the food simply did not justify the cost. When paying premium prices, I would expect a much higher standard. Unfortunately, the food was well below expectations and let down what was otherwise a pleasant stay.

The breakfast was great and the room was very nice. The location is great.

Cons:

The Air Conditioning. The room was very warm and we had no A/C in the room. The hotel did provide fans, however it just was not sufficient to cool the room.
