Location good for central town. Room overpriced even for summer rates. Breakfast was ok, although the table was extremely sticky but clean. Evening meal was typical pub food slightly overpriced. Probably because they offer discount on the food to some residents. Some staff were friendly others very off hand. Have a policy of not letting the rooms available until 2pm even if they are ready. Overall decoration and building in need of attention.
The room was large, clean, stylish and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. There was a large window in the room that we could open which allowed us to get that fresh Cornish breeze in the night. Everything you need is in the room. Tea and coffee and bottled water. The staff were fantastic, friendly and so attentive to all of our needs, despite us arriving late. Food in the restaurant was fantastic.
The shower was easily adjusted for temperature but the shower head could do with replacing due to questionable flow and it slowly slides back down the pole when showering. There is a huge step up into the shower which is tightly placed next to the basin which proved difficult.
