Fantastic hotel in beautiful Quebec City!
Pros:

Hotel 71 is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Our room was immaculately clean, very spacious and comfortable. Staff were lovely. I will definitely come back!

Great hotel in a fantastic location.
Pros:

Location! Location! Location!
We were in the penthouse suite. Beautiful room with spectacular views from the private terrace.

Cons:

We were charged an additional $1400 on arrival due to some computer issue . Everything was paid 3 months before with Booking.com.
The staff at the desk said we still owed this amount, which was incorrect. I had to call Booking.com to get them involved with the staff.
We did not receive a refund from
The hotel until we checked out 5 days later, and only after we questioned them again about the charge. Otherwise, the hotel and staff were. Very nice.

Consider this hotel if staying in Old Town Quebec.
Pros:

If you want to stay in Old Town Quebec then this hotel just might be what you are looking for. A short stroll from the train station (but watch out for the cobble-stones) to a genuine part of Old Quebec. The foyer was understated luxury, the reception staff most accommodating. They even provide you with a key to the wine cabinet which is most impressive (the wine selection and the ambiance). Our room had a view of the river which although a couple of blocks away was stunning. Watching the different moods of the river was a highlight. The room, again understated luxury was such a pleasant and roomy change than that offered us in New York. The cleaning staff were very diligent with their work ensuring we were away from the room while it was being serviced. All-in-all a lovely place to stay.

It was good if we visit your city again we will consider staying at your hotel.
Pros:

Breakfast was more costly than we wanted to pay. We ate outside your hotel. We really liked the location and the room accommodations.

Cons:

We had a poor reception at your dining room. After picking up a menu to review we went to the restaurant for dinner only to learn no reservation could be made until 8:30. We felt your manager could have mention this when the menu was retrieved. We also found him a little rude with his explanation. We did not have dinner there. Also you may want to consider installation of a grab bar in the shower. One would provide a safer space especially for your senior patrons.

I would have chosen to stay in one of the other rooms. The apartment cost was too high - bed uncomfo

We were not told about breakfast.
Location was good.

Cons:

Room wasn’t clean
No one informed us about the stairs to the apartment when we booked - if we had brought the 4 th family member we would have had a big problem.
