Staff at Savoy very understanding and super helpful
late notice booking, early hours due to flight cancelation and no accommodation from jet2 who just abandoned us at the airport, so no bottle of wine or teabags. Aircon was a little noisy due to random rattle.
Customer service was the highlight of the stay. The majority of staff could not do enough to make sure we felt taken care of. Breakfast amazing. Rooms spacious. The furniture in decor was a little outdated but was in good condition with plenty of cupboard space which is usually a challenge travelling with kids! Lovely strong showers. The ocean was beautiful and clean and the kids loved jumping into the sea. Location was amazing with a short walk to restaurants and shops.
The hotel has a challenge with the pool bar and restaurant service and staff - it felt like a different hotel. However, management were very receptive to our observations and making things right. AC in the rooms was temperamental and the beds are not comfortable.
Очень хороший отель, комфортная обстановка, месторасположение, вкусная еда, пляж и бассейны, просто фантастические виды. Хорошее наполнение номера, номера просторные, удобные кровати, кухонный уголок со всей посудой, чудесные ванные комнаты, все в отличном рабочем состоянии. Если будем возвращаться, то вернемся в этот отель, в нем есть все для замечательного отдыха на Мадейре.
Мы заказывали люкс с видом на море, но первый предложенный нам номер был угловой и с частичным видом, после разговора на рецепшн номер нам поменяли и все стало безупречно!

Если с утра занял шезлонг и ушел на завтрак то в угоду местным гостям его отдадут!Убирают вещи и отдают!Есть правило отеля один час шезлонг может быть пустой,но это работает выборочно!Это очень неудобно!

חדר גוניור סוויט מאכזב מעט במחיר של 550 יורו ללילה אתה מצפה לחדר יותר מרווח ויותר מעוצב. לא אהבנו שלא אפשרו לנו צ׳ק אאוט מאוחר למשך שעה אחת בלבד. התירוץ של ״פולי בוק״ נשמע לא רציני . ניתן היה לאפשר שעה נוספת ולשלוח צוות מיומן לנקות מהר עם החדר הוזמן לאורחים הבאים . מחירי ארוחת הערב יקרים מדי 65 יורו לאדם לערב אסיאתי הוא לחלוטין לא מקובל.
The location was good. Access to the sea was also good
The property was tired. The room was very smelly. The hotel was very dark. Dining tables were chipped all round. Pigeons constantly on outside dining tables
Excellent buffet breakfast with omelettes prepared to order. Attentive and friendly staff. Very spacious, both inside and outside. Plenty of events and entertainment in the bars and restaurants.
We arrived quite late and consequently didn't get a full introduction to this quite large hotel. Of course we found our way after the first day.
Big room; good breakfast
Very musty (old folks home) smells throughout hotel . Very old fashioned decor & furniture. Expensive for what it was. Better 5* on the island.
The staff was extremely friendly and attentive to every detail. They enthusiastically helped with every question or request we had. The food was excellent and the pool was wonderful. The parking was also very convenient and the location was convenient to restaurants and shopping and the center of town.

Liked the property, but the Welcome get together was not arranged properly. Instead of just having all the staff line up and not do/say anything , they should introduce themselves to the group and chat a little about the property and facilities. Then invite the guests to get go know each other. The snacks and drinks were very good. The laundry was way too expensive. PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO THE HOTEL FROM US.
