The building is incredible, the views are beautiful, and the grounds are absolutely stunning. The pool was perfect, the food was very good, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Great location and a truly memorable stay. We would happily come back!

Our stay at Pousada Mosteiro Amares was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful historic monastery, the stunning surroundings, and the peaceful atmosphere. The property is truly special and offers a unique experience that we will never forget.
Everything was wonderful, from the charming rooms and beautiful grounds to the overall ambiance. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and soak in the beauty of Portugal. The setting is breathtaking, and staying in such a historic and beautifully preserved building made the experience even more memorable.
The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the entire stay felt special from beginning to end. We honestly could not have asked for a better experience.
If you are visiting the Gerês area, do yourself a favor and stay here! It is a true gem, and we would absolutely love to return. Highly recommended! ❤️
