Pros:

The staff member at the restaurant at breakfast was great, she greeted everyone with enthusiasm and thanked everyone with the same amount of enthusiasm as we left, a lasting impression.

Cons:

We stayed in the suite on level 12, only room on the floor, however, the smoking room is adjacent, so a bit of activity on that level and the room shares a wall with the laundry, everyone who gets in quick to put the dryer on at 6am, no need for an alarm clock.
The private onsen over the years has lost the frost on the privacy glass, looks like its been removed by previous guests to expose the view of the roof tops of the city.
The room was great, spacious.

Gute Lage und geräumig
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Stadt, ist mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut zu erreichen und bietet fußläufig viele Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen und Essen.
Kann sieht, dass das Hotel bereits ein paar Jahre auf dem Buckel hat, die Ausstattung ist aber in Ordnung und das Personal sehr bemüht.
Das Zimmer war vergleichsweise groß, wird konnten beide Koffer öffnen.

Cons:

Das sky spa in obersten Stockwerk ist sehr nett, allerdings sieht man in den Becken überall den Schimmel. Mir war nicht danach, das Bad noch einmal aufzusuchen.

Pros:

Fabulous view, great location to walk to sightseeing spots, great breakfast, friendly staff, and lovely onsen! Rooms are compact but comfortable and clean. We would stay here again!

Spacious rooms and great location. Live the view from our bay windows. Bed supremely comfortable.

The hotel is centrally located with an easy access to a parking lot. Staff is welcoming and friendly.

Cons:

The cleanliness is the biggest let down of the hotel. The carpets in the hallways and rooms need DEEP cleaning. We had stains all over the floor, there was also hair in the bathroom and random pieces of trash from the previous guest. You have to bring your own towel from the room to the spa area and in order to get more towels you need to go to the reception area, if the same towels are used in all the locations, why not have a stack of towels in the spa is unclear.
The onsen is crowded, unless you go during daytime.

Awful
Pros:

We’ve done a lot of travelling around Japan and were genuinely shocked at how dirty this hotel was. The walls were stained, the carpets were filthy, and the staff were very unfriendly.

My son’s room also smelt absolutely awful — the smell was so bad it made the room unpleasant to stay in — and when we raised it with staff, nothing was done about it.

If you’re thinking of booking this hotel, I honestly wouldn’t recommend it. We had previously stayed at a CANDEO HOTELS Wakayama which was excellent, with lovely staff and a great atmosphere, so this experience was incredibly disappointing in comparison. The onsen was so dirty I didn’t even enter the water !!

Overall, it was one disappointment after another.
