Great hotel with good facilities
Pros:

We stayed for work as we were exhibiting at NEC CHEMUK event 20th and 21st May. The twin room was nice. The pool, sauna and steam room were nice (although the Sauna was broken on the 2nd evening and no pool towels were available on the 1st). Meals were lovely - breakfast and also evening meal in the bar area overlooking the golf course. Lovely.

If you need car charging, do check it is working before you book. Otherwise,
Pros:

The staff made the experience for us. They could not have been more friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Our room overlooked the golf course, and that gave some entertaining viewing!

Cons:

One main reason to book this hotel after the location being perfect was that it offered electric car charging. The unit did not work when I plugged in. The reception staff said there had been a problem, gave me a phone number to use and said it could be sorted with a phone call. The person at the end of that call said the hotel had to change platforms and I could not use the charger. This meant my planned time in the spa could not happen as I needed to drive about 3 miles to find a charger. It did take the shine off the stay.

Tiring, uncomfortable and expensive!
Pros:

The surroundings, the little lodges and staff.

Cons:

The room, lots of music noise from event at the property.
The matress seemed to be broken, you sank so far into it, my body was at an angle, so it was impossible to sleep as had backache all night!
So zero sleep!!

Ideale locatie voor bezoek aan NEC Birmingham
Pros:

Comfortabele kamer. Prima bereikbaarheid met ruime parkeerplaats bij het hotel. Goede voorzieningen met goede sportschool en een zwembad. Goede eet mogelijkheden, voor de Cellar bar had een gezellige sfeer en lekker eten.

Cons:

Was eigenlijk weinig mis.

Cons:

Did NOT expect to pay £5 parking fee.
The hotel is on the A45 and the only way to get there is by car.
Room was small with a skylight.

Enjoyable stay and superb dinner menu
Pros:

I thought the menu for dinner was outstanding, and far exceeded what I would've expected. It was a real treat. Every day I eat a very large bowl of porridge for breakfast, I asked your waiting on staff to make me a large bowl of porridge and they did exactly that. Brilliant!

Cons:

Outside of work I'm an athlete and swim 3/4 times a week. The pool temperature was PERFECT, loved it, the but is, the pool is a tad small and the lighting is very dark which made it super hard to see where I was going at speed and see the end of the pool.

Really happy with stay, will definitely stay again.
Pros:

Room was a really good size and had everything I required. Bathroom was good, plenty of hot water, maybe a little too hot.
Breakfast was good, dinner was very good. I was in a party of 12, everyone thought it was a good menu and the food was excellent. Nice bar, staff were excellent.

Cons:

Room was a little tired looking, but did not detract from the stay.
