Cons:

Sadly this was booked for my boss and the hotel had no aircon on the hottest day of the year. Room was like a sauna so sadly he had to go and find another hotel.

It was nice, enjoyable, functional but not luxury
Pros:

Comfy bed,
Powerful fan in the room that kept the room cool in hot weather,
Nice hotel bar

Cons:

Room wasn't the cleanest with black mould on the shower.
General state of the hotel was a bit worn, definitely well used - the carpets, doors and woodwork were noticeably scuffed and worn.
Food had good variety but was average, the hot breakfast wasn't amazing, the sausage & bacon tasted like it was made in pans with yesterday's fat still in it and left

Clean hotel with great food and staff. Environment maybe challenging and extras including spa maybe disappointing. Golf
Pros:

Light and clean. Staff great and food wonderful.

Cons:

Swimming pool. Wasn’t warned about no locks on lockers in changing room and could buy one if we wanted. One person trying to lane swim otherwise families enjoying the pool splashing and bombing the water. Unfortunately I am not that confident in the pool so did not stay long.
Of more concern, bath was slippery and bathroom floor when wet, be careful! No air con in the rooms only stand alone fan.

Lovely view over the golf course

Cons:

Because I was staying overnight I had to pay a parking fee but others at party parked for free as they were not staying
Room was extremely hot and no a/c
