Ruime kamers, fijn zwembad en goede locatie.
The location was perfect, the beach was 5-10 minutes walk and shops were every where. The children loved the pool and the bar area was easy to access. Staff were wonderful and everything was clean. We were also offered room clean each day of being there which was not needed but we valued the thought. When we needed help the staff was a call away and they tended to our needs . It was even more convenient that they had an ATM at hand in the lobby which was free. We will definitely be coming back.
Great location clean
The security round the pool are the angriest people in the world. It’s actually funny how angry they are
We arrived at the hotel in a Friday night as a family of 5 adults and 1 child (6)
Check in was slow and we had to ask for safes etc ad these were not offered to us.
This is a huge complex and the apartments are in separate buildings away from the hotel itself. We were given 2 rooms in Lote 1 this faces the main road opposite a hotel with bars and restaurants nearby. Underneath the apartments are a Chinese Restaurant, chemist, tour shop and a gift shop also scooter hire.
The first room was on floor 1 apartment I
This was a huge apartment with a sofa (this didn’t convert) a single bed, dining table and nice furniture. Next to this was a good self contained kitchen including a washer and a dishwasher even though detergent and tablets were not included these can easy be purchased if needed.
Next to this was a bed with 2 single beds pushed together, built in wardrobes, safe and plenty of drawers.
The bathroom was spacious with a shower over a bath. There was also plenty of hot water and a great shower.
In the cabinet was a first aid kit and a hairdryer.
In the hall section there was a further wardrobe and drawers.
Overall plenty of storage for clothes etc.
There was an air con unit in both the living area and the bedroom which was amazing and quiet.
My only gripe was there was only 1 mirror and this was located in the bathroom.
There was a huge balcony that stretched across the full apartment.
The second room was on floor 3 apartment E
This was similar to the other but the sofa opened up into 2 single beds and had a larger TV
The first couple of nights there was a lot of noise from surrounding apartments which made it difficult to sleep it sounded like they were moving the furniture around constantly. Then there was the music from the Hangover Bar across the road which would play into the late hours.
Out daughter and partner with their son asked the hotel if they could move rooms due to the noise. They were given a 3 floored apartment in a different building which slept 8 with 3 bedrooms. The problem with this was as it was amongst large groups and the noise was the same with them coming in at all hours shouting and playing music.
There was 2 pools that were available to use 1 being the main pool with a bar etc this was always so busy. The 2nd pool was ideal for young families but there was no toilet facilities, so a trip to reception was required for the loo.
This hotel is not good for families with small children as it attracts large parties due to the larger apartments
This was our third time staying at this hotel. We requested the apartment that we stayed in last year and the staff where so kind to honour our request, all the staff are so friendly and speak very good English. The apartment has 2 large bedrooms ( the beds are so comfortable )with the bedroom nearest the bathroom having a large balcony with a view overlooking the sea and children's pool The apartment is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The location is amazing, ideally situated with plenty of bars and restaurants close by, a big shout out to Eddys bar across from the hotel, the food is amazing ( English menu ) Carlos the owner has become a friend over the past couple of years and looks after us every time we visit, Natalia the cook is so lovely and welcome's us with a lovely hug every time we go in. We honestly can't say enough about staying in this hotel, we have recommend it to lot's of our friends and family, as well as people we have met along the way. Until the next time Quinta pedra dos bicos adios we will be back ❤️
Nothing, everything was spot on.
I chose this as I thought hotel by pics wish I hadve read reviews before booking. I booked with easyjet 4 nights got there very late in the evening around 11pm our flight came in at just after 9 we had trouble finding our transport which was part of package then 15 mins into an hour long journey to hotel the driver was told to turn back to airport to awaken his work colleague who had fell asleep in his minibus and passengers were waiting on him. So this added to our travel time everyone so tired. Got to hotel told we were in apartments block 1 2nd floor the terrace didn't get the sun anytime of day or evening had to walk back to street hotel is in to get to pool so not onside as I thought. We were there 4 days before getting clean towels and had to email easyjet customer service because I asked the hotel 4 tomes to no avail. Couldn't sleep at night because of noise from clubs pubs and bars across from apartments also the light showing through curtains I wear hearing aids and the noise kept me awake all night . The view when you go out on terrace in the morning is of the pool and hotel across the road which looked beautiful. The lock on the door was very hard to open or lock drug dealers also hang about round the apartments in the evening noise also from traffic and motor bikes I could go on and on but not the place for me returned home exthausted . I did inform easyjet said nothing they could do but eventually got clean towels 4th night was going home 6 next morning. Cheers easyjet.
Zwembad plus ligging
Kon weinig doen in de keuken
tres bien
mais il ne manque qu'un lave vaisselle à 7 ce serait bien
Having just returned from from a 10 day holiday
Any one booking this place as a family holiday. I really would think twice about it.
We needed two rooms that were close together As it was family with 2 children ages 7 and 10, and grand parents. There are 18 blocks in this complex. We were placed in block 1. Nicknamed the prison block. Over the Chinese restaurant. One of the worse experiences of any holiday we have been on.
These apartments. Are full of stag and hen. Groups. Or. Gangs of middle age men. Language. And being sick. Not once. Loads of times. Complained every night due to lack of sleep with children. The youngest was a bit frightened due to, the noise. We eventually got moved after day 6. When we say stag groups. It’s groups of any number. Totally took over the pool even the children’s pool. At the main pool
It could be a very nice place. If they put the big groups in certain blocks.
Another downer. Dealers driving round the complex
Arrived mid morning, check in is 4pm. They store luggage but they take it off you and give you a ticket to collect, so definitely have poolside items ready at hand if you want to enjoy your 1st day on site.
Check in was easy and staff very pleasant.
Room was ready early at 2pm so that was a bonus until we got to it! It was awful to be honest. I knew the whole place wasn't modernised but I mean this was from the stone age bath looked dirty, toilet seat didn't fit and the lounge area is weird no air con, only on the bedroom whichbJet2 does not stipulate. Grounds OK, but someone vomited outside my block and ot was just left for the remainder of my stay. Was also work going on, on the neighbouring block for the entire week which was very noisy starting at 8am.
I thought the pool area was lovely and quiet, until Thursday arrived along with hundreds of groups of males. Who of course couldn't check in so made full use of the pool bar which btw is extortionate 11 euros for 2 small beers in plastic cups. The security man is ride I know what orecious reviews mean. He pretends he is monitoring the pool, but he really isn't and one male in one of thee groups dived I to the shallow end of the pool, I could see it happening and was almost sick when it did, luckily he just had a rather large bump but it could have been so much worse and there were a few other near misses. I could barely relax for fear of someone really injuring themselves. I know it might seem common sense but there is no signs warning no diving until a certain point and since they're selling copious amounts of alcohol to large groups all too ready to show off it is a serious accident waiting to happen. Location is OK if you want the strip which is about a 10 min walk away there isn't really anything much else next to the hotel unless yiu want burgers, pizzas and English vibes. Old town is a 50 minute walk and under 5 euros in a taxi (recommend taxis, the walk is a bit of a killer). For a lads or lasses cheap weekend away this place is probably fine, but I don't think I'd return. Oh also our block the maids were not turning up until 4pm a time I think is a bit rubbish as it's generally when people are in their room taking a nap or getting ready for the evening. Expect noise through the night on a weekend too. Especially of you end up with a full hen party occupying the other rooms on your block.
Only Disappointment on the Holiday was we didn’t get checked in until 15:45 on the day we arrived. We booked the 2 Bedroom Apartment and there was enough space for the 4 of us. Spotlessly clean and plenty of bedding changes and towel changes during the 7 Night stay. Bits of ambient noise during the evening into the early hours but nothing that was excessive. Close to the strip but also close to Aldi. Turn right out of the hotel for a quieter life and Turn left for the noisy strip.
Beaches close by and plenty of bars and restaurants to eat.
The apartment rooms were clean and comfortable, and we were impressed with how nice they were.
Short walk to the strip, but the rooms were a very high standard
