Wonderful visit
Pros:

Customer service was amazing and the cleaning staff is wonderful! Everything was very well maintained. The staff upfront showed clear attentiveness and that matters to me as a client!

The room was nice and i love the location. The staff was nice and the guest was nice as well. The parking was great as well. we loved everything.

The staff was lovely and my room was so nice and pretty. And my view was amazing. And also, they had my name on the TV,
Pros:

The property was amazing. As soon as you walk in. It’s just like wow. And I would definitely stay there again the next time I go to Myrtle Beach.

Cons:

There was nothing bad about the property, but if you like to swim, then it’s only one pool and it goes to only 3 feet but other than that I enjoyed my time there.

Pros:

Room was sufficient for one night, but way over priced. The walls are so thin and the room next door had their TV booming so loud that we could hear the whole movie! Hallway noise was a lot also. Doors banging. It was 11:40PM.

I think it’s ridiculous that they charge you $10 a day to park in the hotel’s parking deck when you’ve already paid for a room.

There is a lot of construction work going on at the front of the hotel and prices should have been adjusted to reflect this.

All in all a pretty disappointing experience. I am a Marriot member and I would have expected better.

Amazing Stay!
Pros:

This was such a amazing hotel stay & the main reason was due to the excellent services to this great front desk agent that I want to give a special thank you to, Abdul. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and friendly. Hope to meet someone just like him at every hotel. Gavan was also much of the same & gave great info. Overall, I highly recommend everyone coming to stay at this location can't wait to returning again soon!

Disappointed Stay
Pros:

My daughter, my handicapped husband and I stayed June 19-21, 2026. She made the reservations directly with the hotel. She asked for a handicapped accessible room for me and my husband and was assured that we would get one. When we checked in, we were told that our room was handicapped accessible. She also asked for a room on the lowest floor, but we were assigned to the fourth floor. When questioned about a lower floor, we were told the third was already booked. Our room was not handicapped accessible - there was no shower that we could walk in. Instead, there was a tub. When I could not get the desired temperature with the hot and cold water, I called the front desk and asked for someone to assist me. But instead, I was given instructions on how to operate the two different hoses to get the desired temperature. That was unacceptable. I showered in my daughter's room during our stay, and my husband needed assistance to get into the tub. The tub in our room had a black ring around the inside. The carpet needed vacuum-trash was visible; hair was on the back of the commode. That room needed a good cleaning.

I have first-hand experience in how rooms are to be cleaned because I worked in the Francis Marion Hotel housekeeping area (Charleston SC) as a room cleaner and later as a room inspector.
