Too cold in the room had to call maintenance 3 times and issue still was not fixed.

It’s a dated depressing dark lobby. There isn’t much to like about it. I liked the breakfast though and breakfast staff was very nice.
Dingy dark lobby. Overpriced Nile view room where the noise of traffic wouldn’t let you sleep. Front desk staff were rude at check out. VIVO restaurant refused me entry and was forcing me to sit in a dark empty bar all alone while the whole restaurant was empty. Concierge arranges over priced tours without suggesting cheaper alternatives. Frankly go and stay anywhere except here. Concierge on day 1 sent me to walk around the neighbourhood without informing me that there are no restaurants nearby and it’s unsafe traffic to walk through. Don’t waste your time and money here.
Very disappointing experience and by far the worst Ritz-Carlton stay I have had in the region.
From check-in to check-out, the overall experience fell well below expectations. The room was not comfortable, and the atmosphere at night felt outdated and uninviting. Loud music continued until around 1:30 AM, making it difficult to rest.
What was even more surprising was that the housekeeping team started cleaning the floor around 8:30 AM, shouting to each other in the corridors and creating significant noise that disrupted guests trying to sleep.
In addition, the water pressure in the bathroom was extremely weak, which further impacted the quality of the stay.
For a luxury hotel brand, this level of service and guest experience is simply unacceptable. I would strongly recommend considering alternatives such as St. Regis or Four Seasons, both of which provide a far superior experience and much better value.
