Underwhelming
Pros:

Location was very central to the Pavillion Night Baazar aswell as other markets.

Cons:

We genuinely felt at times we were staying in the hotel by ourselves. We saw very few staff. We saw very few guests anywhere. At times we'd see suit cases in the lobby or occasionally guests in the lift. Other than that, we had very few encounters with anybody. Breakfast had a large selection and the staff that we did encounter there were nice and were making a huge effort to ensure everything was topped up and keeping an eye on tables etc...The hotel and the facilities are very outdated. The pictures do not live up to reality. It was built and that has been it. No effort to keep up with the trends.

On arrival 5 staff ignored me at reception 2 of them on mobile phones.
Pool is a good size but falling apart, tiles missing and sharp edges everywhere plus a raised crack, rubbish left for two days around pool. On departure I was asked if I had taken the laundry bag and told I had to pay for it, fortunately I always video a room as I enter, torn curtains and general disrepair everywhere, shame as I visited here 25 years ago when the place was in its prime
