The room decor was dated could use new electric switches and connectors.
Just returned from a 3 night stay at the hotel. We had a grand deluxe room on the fourth floor with the bonus of a balcony. The wall was quite high but you still got a lovely view of the rooftops of the city. Room very comfortable and lovely mix of antique furniture. Bathroom great with amazing shower. Dinner at the rooftop restaurant was quite expensive but the food and service was good. Staff very friendly and helpful with suggestions on what to choose to eat. Amazing views topped by a beautiful sunset.
There are plenty of places to eat nearby as well that are a bit away from the more touristy places.
My partner had a problem with his eye that needed a hospital visit to check it out and staff very helpful with directions and sorting taxis out for us.
Good choice at breakfast and again good and quick service. We had a lovely stay despite the hospital visits!

Good location in the old part of Verona, 10 min walk for buses to train station if needed.

Nous avons été deux fois en peu de temps la deuxième chambre était moins confortable mais sans ensemble tout est très bien
This is a lovely hotel, which is easily missed as it lacks a showy entrance. That said, once inside, it has an understated elegance that we enjoyed. I was so glad that we had a walk-in shower here as every time we had to get in/out of a tub, I thought I might fall. The linen sheets felt a bit scratchy to me (maybe they were brand new?) but my husband said they felt fine to him. Breakfast service was a very nice buffet. Staff that we interacted with were helpful, especially offering hotel umbrellas during the day there were heavy rains. We had drinks and a light lunch in the hotel bar, which is a bit tucked away on a lower level, but very nice. The hotel is in a central location and easy to get to all the historic sites and shopping nearby.
