Excellent and worthy of its 4*
Pros:

Mum and daughter get away...Great location this is the 3rd hipotel I have stayed at in Cala millor, the rooms was lovely cleaned daily. I had street view , opp a nightclub but didn't bother us. Hotel was spotless and the staff are very friendly - guests are majority German. Mostly older: couples not so many kids maybe back to school already for Germany. The gorgeous bar staff always service with a smile and table service in evenings. Only there 4 nights entertainment we saw was good. Free towels, Pool was lovely clean and enough loungers to go around. I upgraded to AI the food was good, breakfast a good choice, lots of salads meats cheeses, paella daily, meats and fish, nice tapas selections at dinner for entrees. Dining room spotless, drinks quick and efficient never had to ask. I would stay here again with family or solo. Safe resort, mostly German tourist nice vibes! Hotel is minute from main strip & 2 min to beach.

Fabulous hotel highly recommend
Pros:

Just come back from 5 nights staying here with my 15 year old son, went as a package deal with jet2. Can’t recommend highly enough for both companies, every part of the holiday was lovely. The hotel is spotless, food is lovely and there are absolutely no sun bed wars, we arrived at 2.30pm and had a choice of beds, each day you could wander down about 10.30 and have a choice. The pool was sparkling and pool areas really clean. Wasn’t busy at all especially for peak season surprisingly and not many children. Big thanks to Jenniffer on reception as my son left my AirPod case on our transfer bus which we only realised as it drove off, asked at reception if they could help and it was returned later that day. Flight and service with jet2 seamless too

Brilliant hotel and lovely staff
Pros:

Just got back from 2 weeks at the hipotel said and all I can say is im coming back next year.
The hotel is spotless and rooms are beautiful I was on a side street view and I was worried about hearing the nightclub but didn't have to worry as couldnt hear a thing .
The beds are like sleeping in a cloud and loved the shower and bathroom and tv great lots of English channels
The food is great lots to choose from and omg I loved the paella was so nice every night and the gala dinner was a lovely night the food was always warm and stocked up sometimes had to wait for meats steak chicken but was minutes.
The pool area is lovely big pool and nice sunbeds there no saving sunbeds then leaving you get towel took of I used to go for breakfast then sit on sunbed and read .
Cocktails are so nice on Ai and so many to choose from yes i had eveyone on the list. Ainara was brilliant and so nice as she noticed my nephew was t1 and offered help with sugar free and she went above and beyond and was always very friendly
Also Bashir the entertainment was great my nephew loved him and he was friendly and great with him .the entertainment on a night was good the typical holiday entertainment but always the option to watch it and loads of seating inside and out .
Also want to mention Delia from reception as I was on a solo holiday for a week before family joined me she always asked me how I was and how my day was and also it was my birthday when I was there and I had balloons and wine and a lovely champagne breakfast.
The hotel is 5 min from beach and from the pedestrian zone shops bars restaurants and the beach front.
I can honestly say I will be bk next year and lovely hotel and staff are very friendly .

Fantastic four star
Pros:

ROOMS AND SERVICE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The rooms and hotel in general are very clean. We stayed in a double pool view room and it was lovely. Spacious bathroom with a shower/ bath and hair dryer. Tv in main room, lots of storage space and a free safe. The bed sheets are very thin- I’m sure this is because it is hot but if you prefer a thicker sheet, bring a blanket. The air conditioning works well. Seen a few comments about the club across the road but we couldn’t hear anything or the hotels music. There is no light on the balcony or kettle. I can’t fault the friendliness of all hotel staff. Welcome drinks on arrival. Very nice and personal service. Free pool towel that you can change every three days.

FOOD ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The buffet is lovely. Some would say it may feel repetitive but I don’t feel it’s that bothersome. There is a mixture of plain foods as well as more adventurous sea food. Theres pasta, chips, pizza, rice. The selection of salad and fruit is delicious. Puddings are very impressive. A selection of ice creams with a number of toppings. Plus various tarts, cakes and mousses to try. Not every food item is labelled however so it can be difficult to tell what it is. Drinks- a choice of wines, fizzy and soft drinks. However waiting staff will get this for you as opposed to the typical self-service machine. This can mean you are waiting for a drink/ only receive one with your meal. I’m sure if you ask they are happy to attend. Gala night was a lovely treat with a chocolate fountain and even more choice of Mediterranean food. In my opinion the waiter staff are too keen to take your plate. The number of times I was eating and had my plate taken away or could see the waiter stood next to me waiting for me to finish.

POOL⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The pool looks exactly like the photos. There are plenty of sunbeds. I believe you can sit on them from 8 and it does say you cannot reserve a sunbed with your towel but I don’t think I saw a single person taking towels off my whole stay- plus there wasn’t the usual “sun bed wars”. It was a very quiet hotel plenty of sunbeds available if you are there before 9:30. And to be honest, there tends to be a few available in the day too. Lovely clean water. The pool varies in depth and there is an additional toddler/ small kid pool with a sun shade cover.

There is also an indoor pool although it is not heated but can be refreshing if you choose to use the sauna. There is a spa service too but we did not try this.

ENTERTAINMENT⭐️⭐️
The entertainment wasn’t great. One night it was it was an acrobat duo but it wasn’t fab. The others was a selection of DJs and musicians. If you are looking for entertainment it’s probably not for you. There was a couple of things like aqua gym, darts and water polo and some activities for kids. Music goes off at 11 pm.

LOCATION ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lovely location. 3 min walk to the beach. White sands and plenty of space along with restaurants, bars and shops. Lots of SPARS to stock up on water, snacks etc. Looks just like the photos. I’d say to bring a brolly if you prefer to be in the shade because there is no coverage. Lifeguards present.

ALL INCLUSIVE. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The cocktail menu clearly identifies drinks that are part of the all inclusive. We were very impressed with the choices and sizes of the cocktails. There are mojitos, pina coladas and the special hippolets blue cocktail. There are also non alcoholic drinks included as well. The snacks are okay. It is usually a selection of water melon, melon or pineapple with one or two pastries. Probably less impressive than the drinks. Pool bar is open from 10 am. Staff are very friendly.

JET 2 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had a private taxi transfer from the airport. This was a flawless service. Took us about an hour which I think cut the travel time in half compared to the coach.

The JET2 rep who visited the hotel was helpful. Trips- Caves, Dinosaurland, Safari and a number of boat and all day market tours.

I will say there is a discrepancy in the rules- sometimes management don’t want you walking through the lobby in your swimming costume but I saw a few people having dinner in their bikinis. Just something for the team to think about.

Overall this is a 4 star hotel. It’s has great, clean facilities with friendly and helpful staff. To make it a 5 star stay- better entertainment both throughout the day and the evening and a variation of snacks served.

Great Hotel and even greater staff 100%
Pros:

Wow what can i say getting to the hotel with a 6 yr grandson with T1 Diabetes we were a bit worried how we would cope however the ultra friendly staff made our family holiday from arriving and being checked in by Delia who everytime she saw us made us so welcome and always asked if we had any problems. We arrived the night before the world cup final so having a football mad grandson decided to watch the match and enjoyed it and even more with Bashir(SP)(entertainment manager) as my grandson said to us that Bashir looked lonely watching the game so when spain won went over and gave him a big hug and every time after that he and Bashir were always high fiving each other he made my grandsons holiday thank you Bashir ,
People commented about the bar staff but i honestly say they could not be any more friendly especially Ainara who instantly recognised that my grandson had a insulin moniters on his arm and immediately advised us on his drinks etc he really was happy to see her and was also so friendly every time she was on shift. In fact all the staff were 100%.
The hotel throughout was spotless and was very close to the beach if needed which we didnt as the pool facilities were first class. The idea about pool beds and leaving towels on was 100% spot on as this is my pet peeve about holidays we did only see some brits come down about 9.30am and put towels on beds then go to the beach only to come back at about 3.30pm. So all in all we had a great holiday thank you.

Nice clean hotel, staff excellent, food needs more choices.
Pros:

Nice location, close enough to the beach and main srip etc.
Room was spotless and well maintained, hotel is really clean and pool is well maintained compared to other hotels we have stayed in.
Staff on reception, bars, restaurant and animation are excellent
Food is the only real downside to the hotel, with many meals obviously recycled from one day to the next and every day was very similar to the previous day... i found myself walking round the hotplates saying "same, same, same !"
maybe more diverse meals or theme nights would be good.
overall the hotel is clean, tidy and staff are excellent.

Could be 5* with the obvious improvements
Pros:

I’ll start with the big one - the food
The food generally is “fine”. It’s not amazing, it’s not bad, just somewhere in the middle where we wish it was better but could also be so much worse. Some days were great and we had lots of choice - others were the opposite and we struggled to find lots to eat, and none of us are fussy. The food was not cold! It’s only cold if you wander around with everything on your plate for ages, you can literally see everything is steaming hot when it’s out ready for you (top tip - get your cold food first then go and get the hot stuff). You will be absolutely fine if you love fish, as they have plenty of it in the afternoon and evenings. Not really enough choice of other meat such as fresh chicken, it’s cooked on the grill so can be a little chewy at times and not the most delicious. The red curry chicken is good though! Some strange options though, like chicken nuggets, mozzarella sticks or potato wedges for breakfast??? If you have allergies I wouldn’t recommend this place for you. Labels can sometimes be poor and not tell you what it is, like some things are just left unlabelled.
Desserts - extremely repetitive and have no idea what they are! The labels just say “assortment of cakes”. No idea what you’re actually eating, what’s in it or anything. Yet they can label the jelly, the ice cream, and the rice pudding but not the cakes! Considering it’s the same desserts every day you’d think they’d have labels by now, we stayed for 12 days and only saw one change when it was chocolate fountain night.

The drinks however were great - all those saying limited choice on all inclusive must want everything!! We had plenty of cocktails, plenty of spirits, soft drinks, everything you can think of and even iced coffee. You only had to pay for the “expensive” stuff such as Smirnoff, Malibu, (the normal cheap malibu is included). And some cocktails are chargeable but the free ones are great. We always enjoyed the drinks and actually found ourselves a little tipsy in the evening which proves they don’t water it down.
There are so many things that make this hotel positive, but some really obvious tweaks needs to be made to make it perfect.

I will add some positives and finish with improvements that need to be made

To begin on arrival we got a welcome drink. A nice glass of cava. Free pool towels. Free safe. Perfect. Tourist tax €33 each for 12 night. In the room we were left a free bottle of wine again! The hotel and grounds itself is very clean. There is a little robot that goes around the pool every night cleaning the water which is cool. Everywhere spotless, the maids in the room are great too. We asked for clean sheets every 2-3 days and they did this for us. All the staff are polite and friendly, especially the bar staff. Big shoutout to all the bar staff, they are amazing and always had a good laugh with us and kept us topped up with drinks. The hotel location is excellent. 2 minute walk from the beach and the main strip of shops/bars. Also cala bona is only a 20/25 minute walk where you’ll find more. Every 2 sunbeds have an umbrella. It’s in the ground so no one can steal them off you and there are no umbrella wars. Really easy to get a sunbed too, you can sit and hold from 8 and then from 9 you can leave them unattended whilst you go and eat. We got our beds at around 8:45, came back around 10:30 after our walk and had no issue. The balcony has double glazed doors so you don’t get any noise from the outside so we found it pretty quiet when sleeping at night.

Negatives - these are realistically things that can easily be changed and didn’t ruin the holiday as such.
Yes, the hotel is very German focused, but unfortunately, there is nothing anyone can do about the visitors. We did have to watch the England World Cup game in German though, which seemed strange considering most of the German guests could speak perfectly good English so the commentary wouldn’t have been an issue. We did find a good handful of English people turning up after a few days! The staff also speak very good English so you can freely speak in your own language.
The hotel room only had one mirror - in the bathroom. Very awkward really when there’s a huge walkway before the beds that just has artwork on - can easily be swapped for a full length body mirror, plus you can’t use the mirror if someone else is in the bathroom/shower. Also no light over the shower so was a little dull - again easy improvement to be made. Not many plug sockets in the room just by each bed so I did have to unplug a lamp to make more room for electronics.
No English sausages at breakfast - might be me just being picky but it’s mainly just frankfurters or chorizo. They could do with another pool really - it can get really crowded in the afternoon and end up swimming into everyone - an extra pool or bigger pool would be beneficial. Don’t hang your towel over the balcony - you get a letter saying to refrain from it because it “ruins the image of the hotel”, weird, because towels over a balcony have never put me off wanting to go somewhere? The entertainment at night is also hit and miss - sometimes it’s fine sometimes it’s awful - just take it or leave it!

All in all, it’s a 4* resort in terms of cleanliness, staff, drinks choice/quality, room quality (comfortable beds and a big TV), but the food really lets it down in our opinion, and the few obvious minor tweaks that could be made.
Would I come back to this hotel? Personally no. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes, for everything in terms of location, staff kindness and cleanliness.

12 nights all inclusive
Pros:

Visited here as all inclusive 12 nights as a couple.
Starting off with the food, as I feel this is a big one when paying for AI…food is not great in mine & my partners opinion, and we aren’t fussy eaters! There was alot of fish, so if you like that then plenty of it. There was little bits of chicken breast served most days, but this was incredibly chewy and so hard to eat. Also not much food options for children or those who prefer more plain food. At breakfast there was some pretty strange options, such as chicken nuggets, potato wedges & onion rings?? Which we found quite strange for a breakfast option.
However there were other things aswell like eggs, beans, bread, bacon, yogurt, pastries ect. Rarely any hash browns & sausages that are served are odd for breakfast, they are chorizo or like mini cocktail/rubbery type sausages.
If you have allergies, or just prefer to know what you’re eating, this place isn’t really ideal as hardly anything is labelled. It all just says “assortment of cheese” or for like cold meats “assortment of meats” and the same for the desserts, there were cakes and stuff every day, but we never knew what they actually were or what was actually in them as again it was just “assortment of cakes” we also found that the minority of food that was labelled, were in the wrong place, or stated it was something different to what it actually was. This made meal times really difficult almost every day. Desserts were also very repetitive, the same thing every single day pretty much, apart from a Thursday where they added a chocolate fountain with a wider variety of fresh fruit in the evening.
On to the drinks, which we were very impressed by! There were lots of great cocktails, spirits, white, rose, and red wine, and the beer served was San Miguel. The cocktails tasted great!
The hotel was spotless everywhere, the beds in the rooms were really comfortable, we looked forward to getting into bed every night because we’ve been sleeping so well here! Staff are also very welcoming, we had a glass of wine on arrival and the lady who checked us in was very helpful and provided us with a lot of information, and was happy to answer any of our questions.
The bar staff were absolutely amazing, no matter how busy it got at the bar, or outside in the evening, they always did their best to make sure everything was ok, and were very quick to serve us. They were very friendly and polite, always smiling and down for a good laugh! They are a credit to the hotel.
The location of the hotel is brilliant, 2 minutes walk to the beach and the main strip where all the shops are, plenty of restaurants, and bars along the strip and the beach.
Hotel rooms could do with a floor length mirror as there is just the one in the bathroom.
Overall, this hotel lives up to its 4 stars in terms of cleanliness, location, drinks, the pool & the politeness of the staff, it’s just the food that unfortunately really let it down for us.

Brilliant
Pros:

Absolutely wonderful. Staff so friendly and helpful. Great idea about sunbeds. From 0800 you can sit and hold sunbeds but if you leave towels before 0900 they remove them.
Pool towels were new New and very thick.
Food unfortunately for me not great as lack of good protein like: nice chicken ( slithers overcooked and dry), nuts to sprinkle on yogurt would be nice, fresh fruit smoothie etc but if you like fish...seafood is in abundance.
If they spread the budget that went on the extravagant party night (copious choice.... for one night only) then perhaps less 'frozen mass produced' battered veg, defrosted puddings that rarely changed and maybe something like smoked salmon, avocado.
Also as non smokers it wS bit irksome that large overflowing volumes sat at smoking section right in front of pool.
Smoking area ironically larger than tiny gym.
But I guess the demographic needed more smoking space than gymnasium.

Fantastic hotel great food, staff and location
Pros:

Family of 3, 2 adults and a 12 year old. Standard twin room was large with lovely sofa bed with proper mattress, still left plenty room when it was in use. 2 thick double glazed patio doors which kept all the noise out. There was a night club on close by every night but you would not have known with an inner and outer patio door which provided excellent sound proofing. Large modern walk-in shower and plenty storage shelves in the bathroom. Food was a very high standard. Best we have had for a 4star all inclusive. Didn’t feel like canteen food or same things every night. Plenty choice and individual portions of many dishes. Staff all polite and welcoming. Evening entertainment a bit hit or miss. Plenty of sun beds available throughout the day. 5 mins walk to the beach.

Lovely stay
Pros:

The good - hotel was absolutely lovely and modern, beautiful reception which smelt amazing when you walked in every day. Staff were polite, friendly and welcoming. The hotel lobby, toilets, restaurant, rooms, pool area were spotless could not fault the cleanliness of this hotel, staff worked hard to maintain this daily and I have to say the cleanest and most well maintained pool and paddling pool for little ones that I have ever used! And I mean crystal clear water all day.

Negatives - there were some negatives and we felt the all inclusive drinks option was very limited considering it was all inclusive hotel. The food was very repetitive and not of a great standard at times and there were not enough fresh vegetables. The fruit was lovely and fresh and hot breakfast choices were cold, although lunch time we felt hot options were a lot warmer. We felt we needed to eat out at night because the choices were quite limited. If we were to return we would only do bed and breakfast for this reason.

However, location was great and super clean.
The hotel is only let down by food choices and limited all inclusive drinks.

Beautiful hotel, in a great location.
Pros:

Just got back from a 3 night stay with my grown up daughters. First impressions are fantastic, hotel reception is stunning and smells amazing. Reception staff greet you with a much appreciated welcome drink and sent us for lunch while our room was being made ready. They were super friendly and welcoming.
Food was lovely, no complaints from us. We were all inclusive.
Pool grounds were absolutely spotless and immaculately kept. Good sunbed rule too meaning people can't hog them or reserve them before 9am.
Only downside for the pool area for us was the smoking sofa. The wind carries the smell of smoke all over the beautiful pool and sunbed areas, which is unfair for everyone else. Some people would spend hours on the smoking sofa so it was constant. I think it needs relocating as you have small children in the shallow end and it's absolutely not fair on anyone especially young children, inhaling 2nd hand smoke.
Gala night was lovely and a nice touch, which I believe is every week.
Hotel room we had was a double with pool view, accomodated the 3 of us fine, 3 single beds, on the small side and felt a little cramped but was hardly in the room, so no issue at all. Hairdryer didn't work, despite reporting it, still wasn't fixed, which wasn't great for mum and 2 daughters. Also, the room needs a mirror as only the bathroom had a mirror so proved difficult at times as everyone needed it.
On the whole I would come back here as the hotel is beautiful. Most of the staff are lovely, especially the snack bar staff and manager, along with the lifeguards, only 1 encounter with a less pleasant member of staff upon requesting the luggage door key on 12th June around 5pm and again 7pm.
This hotel is very German focused and unfortunately my daughters and i felt most but not all, were not the friendliest, but we kept ourselves to ourselves and really enjoyed our stay and will return.
One thing to note, this is not fully all inclusive. Majority is. But its not round the clock food, drinks yes, but not all drinks. Just not what we are used to on all inclusive, it's either all or nothing. But this was just different, however, still lots of choice and the best pina coladas 😊
😊

A chillaxing week in Cala Millor
Pros:

The hotel was immaculately clean throughout. The room was very nice with twin beds, a TV, a balcony with pool views (standard), in room safe and useful fridge.
We stayed for one week on a half board basis. The restaurant was well set out and the food was both varied and plentiful if a little cool at times.
The staff were pleasant, welcoming and hard working throughout.
There are two pools, one for the kids and they are immaculate and well maintained. There are plenty of sun beds and parasols.
The evening entertainment was however a little disappointing in both quality and for being more catering to our German cousins who are predominant in the hotel and the wider resort area.
Overall, we enjoyed our week here and would recommend it to others.

Hipotel Said hotel, Cala Millor 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Pros:

A very clean, well maintained hotel. The staff are super friendly and work really hard. Big shout out to Francesco, Alejandro, Ruben and Aliana for making our holiday so enjoyable.
The indoor pool also housed a jacuzzi. I was able to do my physiotherapy in there, no one else came in. The outdoor pools were really clean, plenty of sunbeds.
There was a good variety of different foods in the dining room, of a very high standard. Great choice of drinks.
I can't fault this hotel and definitely will go back with my family and grandsons next year.

Amazing relaxing holiday!
Pros:

We had an absolutely amazing time at Hipotels Said Hotel!! It’s a lovely quiet hotel that is excellently maintained, there is no rush to get a sunbed in the mornings as there is plenty and the all inclusive food is lovely for what we were expecting! Definitely caters to everyone. The drinks were amazing for being all inclusive and such good variety as well! I would recommend to bring your own water bottles as staff will fill up for you at the bar if you ask! The staff are all so friendly and especially the bar manager Francesco, he made us feel so welcome and the service was great. Would definitely recommend for a quiet and relaxing holiday, we would definitely go back!

Best 10 day holiday in Said Hotel
Pros:

10 day holiday at Said Hotel Cala Millor .
Arrived at midnight and was greeted mbyToni at the front desk who offered us a late supper of salad, meat, fruit and Tea, it was gladly appreciated.
Room was spotless with small balcony, toilet again spotless .
Fridge in room and we asked for a kettle and was told to help ourselves to Tea, sweetener ect.
Hotel is very well kept and caters for everyone.
Plenty sunbeds, no towels put down early.
Food was amazing Steak, Chicken,Pork, Lamb and many more, pasta cheese rice dishes you name it the food was 5*.
Girls at the front desk Rebecca,Jennifer and Kim were always there to help with a smile (our TV was in German and they got it changed to English) well done girls your all amazing.
And our wee cleaner Marga (3rd floor) always greeted us with a smile and good morning and room was always perfect.
Our last day we checked out lunchtime but was told to keep towels for the pool and could use showers down stairs at the indoor pool where there was fresh towels, soap, hairdryer, everything you need to get you back on your way.
This hotel was friendly and one of the best I've been to in Cala Millor and I would definitely be back.
And last but not least Pedro and his side kick Video and all his staff in the dining room, always making sure everyone is ok.
Thankyou everyone for making our holiday AMAZING 💕

Fantastic Discovery
Pros:

What a find this place was a really great hotel with equally great staff. The food is great quality and plentiful the choices should suit all the pool area has a great sunbed policy of no towels before 8 am and you have to be on the sunbed not just leave your towel and disappear for the day. The bar staff are so accommodating and friendly especially Francesco ,Jordi,Ruben, Aiarena and Alejandro who made our stay even more special. We will certainly return

Nice hotel but could be so much better
Pros:

We spent 8 days here which is more than enough. We were half board and most were all inclusive. There are some positives to state about this hotel but there are serious corners which have been cut.

Positive
Pleasant location
Reception friendly although no one to help with luggage.
Pool area very nice and plenty of chairs
Clean
Entertainment guy was fun eg for aqua aerobics.

Negative
Rooms need updating as entrance and communal areas look much better. A lick of paint in the bedrooms would help a lot, especially wardrobes and new mirrors in bathrooms.

Food is the biggest issue - if you like to stuff yourself as much as possible, you will be fine but otherwise the 1 restaurant serves very similar food everyday. Luckily we were not all inclusive.

The gala dinner takes place once a week on a Thursday and was much better. I think the cooking is lazy- nothing wrong with the ingredients, it is what you do with them. The salads are boring and same eg cucumber tomatoes, grated carrot, lettuce. Only on gala night did we see Russian salad- very popular in the tapas bars in Spain. Gala night also had a nice cabbage type salad. There were also some tapas on gala night and fresh shellfish. There was also a wider choice of fresh fruit and deserts.

If you want sausages, ham and mushrooms, be my guest - slanted to the German market which made up most of the clientele.

Some food seemed to bought in and the fact that such an effort seemed to be made for the gala dinner just shows what the hotel can do if it wants.

Coffee was dreadful from the machines. I tried to mix a few options to help but no better.

I understand that the gala dinner takes several days to prepare but just some of the better choice could be included daily surely.

As we were half board, we felt somewhat cheated. Perhaps the hotel needs a second restaurant for non inclusive with better choices.

The gym - equipment was fine but far too small for a hotel with 7 floors. More than 3 people, then you need to come back another time. Then you need a separate key card from reception and you can’t use your room card which is a little strange.
