Enjoyable overall. Thank you.
Pros:

I liked the period features within the main public areas. It’s my main reason for choosing this hotel. It’s retained the Victorian feel of when the hotel was originally built.

Cons:

The room was too hot. Check in is never seamless here every time I stay, takes too long.

It was ok for two nights but I would want a nicer room if I was to stay any longer

Pros:

Clean and comfortable - and exceeded expectations, given that it gets so many poor reviews.
Brilliant value for money and fantastic location.

Cons:

They had forgotten to put towels in the room, but easiely sorted out by asking at reception.

Short break at the Grand Scarborough
Pros:

Central position beautiful architecture friendly staff good entertainment lovely outside patio with great views over Scarborough.

Cons:

Parts of the hotel were dirty and smelly and looked unkept such a shame would be a lovely hotel if not for this.

Nothing like the advertising photos, falsely sold room We refused to stay
Pros:

Awrful smelly dirty mouldy unsafe health hazard absolutely disgusting that they are still allowed to operate, we didn’t stay and are still waiting for our money back from booking.com we will not be using booking.com again

Pros:

The building it’s massive and has a nice view from the sun room

Cons:

The room was tiny and not clean. The kettle was full of rust or dirt. There was hair in the shower and sink.
