Very old but charming property. Accurate details. Beautiful garden, an oasis of peace, good restaurant, and initiatives like yoga are highly appreciated
I understand the desire to preserve the world, but certain green choices seem a bit excessive to me. I missed some comfort, as it was overly basic. I would advise at least fixing the bathrooms and replacing mattresses, pillows, and blankets.
The architecture of the hotel was very impressive. The room was very comfortable, clean and well- designed. We understood the concept of the hotel, such as protecting the environment and practicing for saving water. We enjoyed the yoga lesson in the morning and had a relaxing time. They served delicious breakfast and all the members of the staff were very kind. Thank you very much for your support!
L’authenticité du batiment, la chambre était magnifique, le personnel était trés attentionné.
Ce n’etait pas un gros problème mais la chambre pour avoir des ampoules qui eclairent un peu mieux. Mais franchement c’est un détail.

The location was good
They were not at all flexible re my change in trekking circumstances - I booked for five nights and they insisted I pay for them. Most oversea visitors are coming here to trek - we need flexibility due to changes
Also no option to make a cup of tea or coffee in the room - there was a jug - nothing else
The location of house is so good with only several mins to Ason Bazar and Center of Thamel. However its still quite and peace as for its at the corner of Thamel.
The house is a tipical Nuwarli architecture just very close to Durbar Square style. Its quite looking from outside and so from inside with exquisite wood carving, Courtyard and winding corridors.
The room is clean and so is sheets which the most important for me when choose a hotel.
People are all so nice and helpful. The guard and staff helps me many times on my heavy luggage up and down. And they also keep my luggage for some days there.
The only thing is the young lady refuse my request about checking out late for 2hrs. As a Genuis member at booking i can check out 2hrs late, but the young lady at reception refused at the beginning. She didn't agree until i show her my order on booking and ask why.
What a fabulous historical building! Truly a national treasure! And situated in the heart of Thamel. Staff were so kind and responsive to my requests.

Close enough to the centre of Thamel, however, there were other options closer that were easier to reach.
Vriendelijk personeel, ontbijtbuffet was in orde doch ik had er meer van verwacht, voor cappuccino of espresso moest ik bij betalen.
Bij de eerste standard kamer die ik kreeg toegewezen was er een opening in de douche deuren van 2 cm breed zodat tijdens het douchen het water in de badkamer stroomde. ik kon toen kiezen voor een andere kamer waar de opening al een beetje kleiner was maar toch voor water overlast zou zorgen. de volgende kamer was met douche gordijn , dit leek me de beste optie. de kamers zijn netjes maar beetje oubollig, geen airco maar wel een luidruchtige ventilator. het avondeten viel ook wat tegen , ik koos voor sweet & sour chicken het was een klein kommetje en voor het kommetje rijst moest ik bijbetalen.
The place is beautiful. Feels like living amidst Newari history and art. Staff is utmost courteous and responsive to our smallest needs. Restaurant staff, reception, housekeeping, everyone greeted us with a smile and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and memorable.
Food is also really good. Apart of first night of our stay, we mostly ate in the hotel as we realised their food is much better than nearby restaurants.
Location is also great. It's right in Thamel, the heart of Kathmandu's tourist district. Lots of souvenir shops, restaurants, money changers nearby. But it's on a quiet street where you don't get the noise and hustle of the main streets which are a minute's walk away
The hotel does not have lifts and rooms don't have air conditioners. This is clearly mentioned in the listing. We didn't have any problems. But worth mentioning if someone can't do without these facilities.
1. 地點很好，在泰梅爾區，步行可到王宮廣場、女神廟等景點，散步可到市場、市區，出去向左走有很多餐飲、商店和換匯服務
2. 飯店很有當地特色，是寺廟風格，雖然外面30度的炎熱天氣，但是在飯店裡完全不覺得熱，5月下旬夜裡吹電扇甚至會冷。雖然沒有電梯，但是行李都是飯店員工負責提。每天早上有免費瑜伽課
3. 服務非常親切，前台和餐廳員工熱情、並且不時詢問需求
4. 我們覺得早餐的優格很好吃
