Great location
First, all the decor in the lobby area was very fun, same in the hallways and the rooms. And the room was clean. Continental breakfast was simple but the space to stay and eat was nice and cozy. It was nice having a little balcony overlooking the pool.
There was no elevator and there was no AC. I was in an upper room and it was in the low 80s and my room was hot and stuffy. I opened the French doors and turned on the little table top fans (the ceiling fan did not work) but when I came back after dinner, it was still warm. The other disappointment was the “bathroom“. There’s a corner counter in the bedroom with a beautiful bowl and water faucet on it, but no real counter space. Inside the bathroom, there’s a toilet and bath/shower, very basic with one very low light and two switches that didn’t work. No towel racks or hooks.
Great location. Comfy bed. Lovely pool area
Probably just our room where it was located but noisy at nighttime
Ambiance
Waffle makers
Nothing
Dirty, bad smell, no AC in room, closet doors broken, no parking near room, would not refund even though we did not stay and since I booked on line I was just out of luck
Breakfast is really very poor. Good location! Some windows did not have curtains🙈.
really good gluten free options for my celiac sister
bathrooms need a coat of paint and are a bit dated
Location and view
They moved us because the toilet was running all night and loudly.
In the new room , we had people walk in because they did not show the room booked so strangers were getting keys cards to the room. This made it very unpleasant and disturbing because anyone would walk in.
Nothing
The room was definitely not as the pictures. Hair everywhere ( bathroom, bedroom, bedsheets, pillows) we had to sleep with hoodie on so our heads do not touch the pillows.
This place is not well-maintained. Our door face a little garden that seemed abandoned.
Noone at the reception when we needed to check out. Had to call the reception number while standing at the reception to be told over the phone to just drop the keys on the counter???
Breakfast was a joke!
Never going back there.
The Villa Rosa Inn is a gem 2 minutes away from the beach. It feels secluded, the gardens and pool are amazing. They did an amazing job at honoring the Spanish colonial architecture and making it feel like a special place.
We loved the free happy hour with wine, cheese and charcuterie.
Absolutely amazing place!
10 Gehminuten zur State Street Promenade Downtown!
Man hat das Gefühl, man nächtigt in einer Hacienda. Die etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Möbel unterstreichen den Eindruck positiv! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
