The Mad Hatter Hotel

Excellent location for taking walks around London!
The Mad Hatter theme runs throughout the hotel and pub, making it an interesting and characterful stay.
The people were all nice and helpful and liked a chat.
The room was large and had everything we needed (except air-con).

Location was perfect for our needs. Hotel was clean and well maintained (our bathroom door was squeaking like crazy at the beginning, so I used a butter (from our breakfast) to fix the issue. :) The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great: a lot of choices and very tasty. My favorite choice was a sandwich with smoked salmon, avocado and pouched egg. I also really like provided water, coffee and milk along with a kettle and coffee machine.

This hotel is like home away from home with a load of extras thrown in plus really nice staff to wait on you. It has an authentic olde world theme with a Mad Hatter and Alice in Wonderland vibe. Everywhere you look there is something different. The pub/restaurant is a relaxing English pub serving good food and drinks with a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are quaint but a good size and with all mod cons included. It was very clean throughout and bed was so comfortable. There is a fridge in the room with water and milk, also tea and coffee facilities. You can sit outside and watch the world go by or you can take a short walk to the Southbank where all the world congregate in a sea of colour, music and fun. If you walk left to Waterloo station, you can go anyplace in London. The hop on hop off buses also operate from outside the station.

The staff make this hotel. From once you step through the door, they are welcoming, helpful and happy to see you. All young people enjoying their work and making sure that you have a wonderful time.

I am a tour guide and was looking after a large multi generational group on their first visit to London. I booked lunch at The Mad Hatter Hotel on what turned out to be a hot sunny day-the bar was air-conditioned. We arrived en masse, (including one member of the group who travelled with a mobility scooter). Everyone behind the bar was welcoming, attentive and patient and we had a lovely lunch, experimenting with local beers and spirits before heading off to our next destination. I have just received a review from the group and there is reference to The Mad Hatter being one of the highlights of their day in London. I’d picked the Mad Hatter from a choice of hundreds but was conscious of the mobility challenges. I was not disappointed and passage around the bar and its facilities were seamless, (unlike our choice the following day). Thank you to everyone at The Mad Hatter who contributed to our perfect day in London.

Hotel molto intimo e accogliente con camere spaziose, pulite e confortevoli. La posizione dell'hotel è davvero comoda, si possono raggiungere facilmente a piedi la stazione del treno, i ristorantini del borough market e la queen's walk. Lo staff dell'hotel è meraviglioso, si sono dimostrati sempre molto disponibili, professionali ma anche simpatici e alla mano, questo ha reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole.
Colazione abbondante, disponibile sia a buffet che alla carta.
Sicuramente ci tornerei per un altro soggiorno a Londra

The location was great. Close to the underground tube and walking distance to many points of interest. Delicious breakfast included. Quite warm in the rooms because no air-conditioning but we thought ahead and brought small tableside fans to help cool the room in addition to a large fan they provided.
