Couple exploring Cotswalds
Pros:

Couple nights away visiting Diddley Squat & the surrounding areas, so stayed here for 2 nights. Absolutely beautiful hotel, fab friendly staff, clean rooms & extremely comfy bed. Food very good & good value.

A good base in Banbury for a stopover
Pros:

Lovely pillows. Good supply of beverages and milk in the room. Great walk-in shower with plenty of hot water. Well appointed room
Good breakfast be reasonably priced.

Cons:

No shower gel or shampoo in the shower cubicle.

very disappointing. I was a regular visitor, but doubt I will stay again. We left before breakfast

have stayed here before - location suits our requirements

Cons:

poor staff reception - we were kept waiting whilst some internal issue was dealt with; there were no teabags other than green tea in the room and no sugar. I know we have a heatwave, but at least a fan would have helped

Enjoyed the hotels location and food was good, lack of sleep didn’t help due to no air conditioning

Very disappointed. Was a trip with friends and was highly embarrassed that we had booked this hotel
Pros:

Staff were nice and helpful.

Cons:

Room was dirty with layers of dust and dead spiders. Water pressure in the room was really low and took 3 times longer to have a shower. Cold water had to run for 10mins before it started to go cold.

The rooms had no air con which made it uncomfortable while in the room
We were given a fan but still hot

Easy spot for a one night stay.
Pros:

Good value, good enough!

Cons:

NO AC!!!! A small fan was provided by the hotel. The windows only opened about an inch. The entrance to the private car park was so skinny our car couldn’t fit and the front desk worker couldn’t tell us until what time we could have our car parked out front. We didn’t get a ticket so it worked out, but we left at 7am. Comfortable enough for short term stay. Room and facilities were fine.

Breakfast was excellent

Cons:

Sleeping in a wonky single bed. A small double for lone travellers would be better. As we don’t get it cheaper in fact we pay more. It’s very sad.
