The location was lovely the hotel was lovely
The bed was so uncomfortable and a big lump in the middle of mattress food was not valve for money really expensive
Staff were amazing, so welcoming.
Rooms are a little tired but renovation is in progress. The suite is lovely and very large.
Great hotel, staff are amazing
Loved the suite. Bar closes early.
The staff were friendly and helpful, sorting out a couple of dumb issues of my own fault during our stay
Nothing. Flawless.
Beautiful place with some interesting furniture and a stained glass window. Huge bed and nice room. Food was nice and staff were friendly.
The corridor doors were a little noisy when being shut at night, but nothing too bad.
Location is quiet but close enough to amenities, attractions
Not suitable for local walking as no pavement and quite dark
Lovely location .
Breakfast was beautiful
Staff extremely helpful
I found the bed a bit uncomfortable. Hubby slept really well but I was in a bit of a well slept side of the mattress
Grand old hotel - nice atmosphere and v friendly staff
Location, lovely reception from hosts
Batbroom a bit tired, beds were very hard and uncomfortable. If there is going to be a charge for a dog it would be nice to provide water bowl and possibly offer a bed
Nice breakfast
Would expect a towel rail in the bathroom and a toilet roll holder
breakfast was ok, buffet stile ,plenty to eat if you wanted it, nice grounds and seating area outside , very quiet at night .
dinner and breakfast serving time could have been better waiting time between courses was a little long winded . but food was good when it arrived. definitely come back again.
Such a lovely ambiance inside and very comfortable and clean. In a beautiful setting too. We had an issue with the tv in the room and the wonderful lady on reception tried so hard to sort it and even moved us to another room. Breakfast was really good with a wide variety of items. Will definitely stay again and for longer.
All good.
